Belgian Bush Bashing (Brit Hume's Grapevine)
Fox News ^ | 2/23/05 | Brit Hume

Posted on 02/23/2005 5:22:55 PM PST by pissant

Stickers on urinals all over Belgium where President Bush was today for a third day are inviting people to relieve themselves on likenesses of the President himself, and the American flag.

The stickers distributed by the Belgian Socialist Party (search) can be found in the bathrooms of schools, youth clubs, and pubs, and even in the office restrooms of Belgium's Vice Prime Minister, Johan Vande Lanotte. After all, the man who designed the stickers is one of Vande Lanotte's spokesmen. The leader of the Socialist Party was asked about them on Belgian television but, as The Weekley Standard points out, he refused to condemn them, only saying they weren't his idea.

Meanwhile, here's how one reporter at President Bush's press conference with EU leaders today summed it all up in his notebook — "The same old Bush Junior."

What a bunch of flippin pansy-ass juveniles. We do not want Belgium, France's butt-boy, in any coalition.

It seems that with the exception of a few members of NATO our generosity to nations devastated after WWII has turned them into spoiled rotten brats that bite the hands that feed them. It is time to start thinking outside the box, and let these POS countries pay for there own protection. Time for tough love in Europe.

The Belgians need to recognize that they are really French (with all negatives that that entails).

Other than political stickers, is there anything Belgium produces that Americans might want to buy?

When we are shoping, let's keep in mind who are our friends and who are morons. It is not trivial, see Fricken Frenchies drowning in their own vine as a result of gringoes switching to more friendly beverages.

Belgian women have been making stunning bobbin lace for hundreds of years. I wouldn't mind a few pieces.

Oh, wait, I'm an American. I'll figure out how to make some for myself! Yankee lace! lol

What global socialist movement has been proposed lately?

I see Bush has exempted the US from the ICC, pulled us out of the ABM treaty, Gave Kyoto the finger, invaded Iraq w/o UN approval, relaxed US environmental regulations, and cut taxes accross the board. Not bad for a socialist.

My question was which have been condemned by action and not just lip service.

I say we Agent Orange all their "Sprout" fields, not only would we hurt them economically, we would be doing the world a favor. A world without Brussel Sprouts - what a wonderful world it would be.
