Ex-president Bill Clinton won oodles of positive press earlier this week when he traveled to South Asia with ex-President George H.W. Bush to personally minister to South Asia's still-reeling tsunami victims.
But in a development that seems to have escaped the notice of Western reporters, the "I feel your pain" president took a detour from his humanitarian mission to boost sales of his memoir, "My Life."

For the Hong Kong event on Tuesday, tickets for a quickie grip and grin with Clinton cost as much as $280 each. The steep price included a copy of his book and his signature, but personal inscriptions were verboten.

Yup. I saw this in a Chinese language newspaper that he was charging so much money for his book with autograph. I had no tome to post it.

I dont feel sorry for anyone who got ripped off by paying $280.00 to see this POS. If they are that stupid they deserve to be ripped off.

Now even folks like us gotta admit that doing a book tour and gettting people to pay inflated prices for your book is pretty cool. Doing the trip on the taxpayer's dime is really good planning.

He was never really the "I feel your pain" president. He was the "grope till it hurts" president.

Because HE CAN...
Nobody seems bothered, only some little, powerless taxpayers.
Oh boy, I am not young enough to survive this guy and have a few clintonless quiet years at the end of my life.
