"Email me" returned terrorist invites Canadians

When Zaynab Khadr slipped quietly into Toronto on February 17, officials seized her pictures, papers, laptop and cellphone. What they couldn’t seize was whatever the 25-year-old daughter of the Prime Minister Jean Chretien-rescued Ahmed Said Khadr carries about in her head.

The late Ahmed Said Khadr, officially identified as Canada’s highest-ranking member of Al Qaeda, was set free from a Pakistani prison, when Prime Minister Jean Chretien intervened on his behalf.

During a 1996 state visit to Pakistan, Chretien "aggressively sought guarantees" from the country’s then Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto that Khadr would receive due process and fair treatment.

When mainstream Canadians complained about Zaynab’s 2004 comments to CBC about the September 11 attacks, indicating that Americans deserve to feel a pain similar to what they inflected on others, Prime Minister Paul Martin reminded them that as a Canadian citizen she had a right to her opinions.

While the Khadr family’s association to Al Qaeda as terrorist-trained members is legendary, Zaynab has been the family’s most outspoken member. Osama bin Laden was a guest at her wedding.

The newly-returned Canadian citizen will rejoin her family in Scarborough, where she feels she will have more power to lobby for the rights of her two brothers–18-year-old Omar, who is Canada’s only known detainee at Cuba’s Guantanamo Bay, and her brother, Abdullah, whereabouts unknown since October.

As she chooses to dress in the traditional chador, westerners can see only Khadr’s eyes and hands. Among her latest claims, is a watered down version of bin Laden’s presence at her wedding. On the happy occasion, the terrorist of the future was not the prominent figure he is now, pre-9/11, she reminds us.

How he came to join the wedding party was no fault of the bride. . . . .

When will the Canadian government wake up and stop coddling, supporting and acting as a haven for terrorists?

"When will the Canadian government wake up and stop coddling, supporting and acting as a haven for terrorists?"

When it's too late to do something about it!

Those Liberals in Canada don't care about the safety of the citizenship. Terrorists are block voters, thats what they care about. No different than when Kerry went up to NJ to coddle the terrorist vote there with his anti war rhetoric.

This ignorance of the "enemy within" will end in a catastrophic manner...

When (not if) it gets to the point where Islamanazis in North America think it's time to strike --- an armed American society will strike out at ALL Muslims as "suspect"....

If "peace loving" Muslims here, don't step forward against the lunatics within their midsts and Mosques -- they will all be painted with the red "T"...

Just an old man's opinion..

Yes, a bit of a ticking time bomb here. Only if the Coalition forces are absolutely successful and terrorism vanishes, should Canada breath easily. Heaven forbid that the kind of thing that 9/11 was should be repeated. Any economic repercussions would create a howl of self pitying outrage, hope it never happens for the sake of ordinary Americans and Canadians.

I am beyond disgust at former Prime Minister Chretien. His performance, recently televised, when he was summoned on HIS government's corruptions, exposed him as a charlatan. Yet, a number of Canadians guffawed at his golf ball episode,at the Gomery hearings.

Also worth mentioning is one Mahar Arar. The authorities in Canada washed their hands of him, when contacted by American authorities. He landed in New York and was shipped back to his native Syria. 10 months "torture" followed for him. Locked in a closet type cell. The cost of the enquiry so far, is $23 million dollars and rising. Yep, much of it lawyers fees. This poor man (sarcasm on) only wants $10 million compensation. After a week back in Canada he was one the best looking dudes in Toronto. Torture and all. LOL
