No! We could be in the fourth term of Clinton without the twenty second. Two and out no matter who they are.

"No! We could be in the fourth term of Clinton without the twenty second."
If I am to ever sleep soundly again, I MUST believe he nor she could possibly get near the WH again. Please, I need to believe that. :)
Say what you like about Amnesty International (I guess you all are in favor of political prisoners, torture chambers, and death camps), but you guys clearly know nothing whatsoever about Peter Benenson. He actually resigned from AI shortly after its founding, but his concern was only ever human rights.
He was not pro-Palestinian (he was descended from Russian Jews, for God's sake) - and AI itself has frequently been criticized for ignoring human rights abuses practised by Israel. As a boy, he raised $6000 among his school friends to bring two Jewish refugees from Hitler's Germany to England. He was not a communist - indeed, he worked as hard at freeing political prisoners in China, the Soviet Union, and Cuba as he did in South Africa, Pakistan, and Chile.
In addition to AI, he also founded Justice, an organization established to ensure that the rule of law is paramount. And he was a very religious man. He was a devout Catholic convert and worked closely with the Church on many of their missions.
You may disapprove of Amnesty International and some of their more recent campaigns (which would have had nothing to do with Benenson), but to condemn such a humanitarian out of sheer ignorance is disgraceful.
