I'm not a big fan of Charles by any means, but this "quote" sounds so unlikely that I have to wonder if it was completely fabricated.
And he pleads: "I just want some peace."
Refuse all public money and get a job. Then you'll have a right to complain about the public treatment of you. Till then, you can wall yourself into one of your publicly funded castles and have a good cry on mum's shoulder,... Whaaa!
intr.v. Chiefly British., whinged, whing·ing, whing·es. To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner.
[Dialectal alteration of Middle English whinsen, from Old English hwinsian.]
Who cares what the 'royalty' of England does or says.
Yeah I'm sure this overprivilege, dimwit is tortured. What a disgusting remark. hey charlie, if you can't take the British Press commenting on your AFFAIRS and ugly as SIN girlfriend. How in the H do you expect to be KING.
Sitcom in the making. Prince Chuck as the next Al Bundy shoe salesman.
The only one connected with the royals who has made a successful life for herself is Sarah Ferguson. If there are others, I havent heard about them.
You may be on to something. I see a new role for John Cleese....
He should do what Kings used to do - lop off a few heads. Have some people flayed alive. Boil some of the peasants in oil. I guarantee that will stop all the tittering.
Life's just not fair is it, Charley baby?
Go home and let Camilla wipe your nose and dry your eyes, Mama can't help you anymore she's too busy queening!
LOL. Tell it to Louis XVI :)
Torture is having a panty on your head and being rubbed by female questioners. Charles obviously doesn't watch Abu-Grab coverage.
I run a homeless ministry in the inner city. On friday, one of our residents who was seriously mental ill (but according to our system fine when on meds), was murdered in cold blood by drug dealers who had been invading his apartment by force for weeks.
Every TV station and paper in town interviewed me. None of them got the details right. You might be right about the quote, but Charles is still a twit.
(I tried for two months to get the police to arrest the thugs, but they were prone to take the poor victim to the mental hospital for treatment. We tried to move him to a safer apartment, but he was too confused to go.)
It worked all right for Louis I through XV.
Great casting. However, Cleese will have to act like his IQ is about 40 points lower than it is in order to accurately portray Chuck the shoe salesman.
No. Torture is when they take off the hood and you see the female questioner looks like Camilla.
But you'll note that there have been any more Louis lately :)
You know, this really is none of our business.
