Let's see:
hydro electric is now classified as a polluter and non-everionmentally friendly.
Wind power is out because it kills birds and messes up the view for Teddy Kennedy and Walter Cronkite when they are sailing.
Oil and gas? Don't even go there with all that messy drilling into Mother Earth.
Solar isn't viable yet. Besides who wants all those icky looking solar collectors around messing up the view.
Nuclear? Please. Didn't you see that Jane Fonda picture where the earth is split into two pieces? Why it was almost a documentary.
Looks like we're looking at a dark future hiding in caves without warmth. Well, I might bootleg a little wood for a small fire, but don't tell any environuts.

I heard one wacko bleat "Humanity is a virus infecting the Earth Mother Goddess Gaia". In response I asked him to then take a leadership position and self-terminate.
So, I guess we'll just have to eat, drink and be merry until tomorrow we .... turn into ozone depleting methane!
