You do know that Teresa has no day-to-day interest in the company, right? And that her fortune is pretty much not related to current company performance and stock prices?

I thought the same thing, but she still owns 3% of the company in stock. This drop won't hurt her much though, she can just falsify her taxes again this year.

Hmmmm, 25% drop in earning for a write down of the investment?

*sniff* Do you smell books cooking?

They purchased a company and now they telling the investors that they paid too much for it and that money is coming out of projected revenues?

Or is it that Heinz wants to post a loss on the deal for tax reasons to over inflate their stock value?

A little buy here, a little sell here and no one will notice. Unless you are a Republican, then you get caught.

Yep, I definetly smell something fishy here and you're right, the company will get away with it,,,,martha stewart's stock has gone sky high since she's been incarcerated at camp cupcake, her release is soon and stockholders are anticipating the stock to go to 50, it's at 35 and change now.

her stock is probably priced right at $35. The stock story was bogus. She was not an insider and selling stock on the advice of a broker is the point of using a broker instead of buying direct via the net.

Her company will continue to sell ideas because people want information on how to run their home.

Take a look at some of the freak shows on Cops or the attitudes you see of reality shows. Is it any wonder women have looked for TV mothers to explain how to use their kitchen?

I beg to differ, lying to the feds is WRONG and she deserves to be in prison, she got too high and mighty with her I'm better than you and I can get away with this attitude, she got what she deserved.

By the way, martha was a stock broker, she knew the rules and tried to bend them to get away with insider trading.

She didn't get busted because of insider trading. She got busted because she altered her records when she was investigated, aka obstruction of justice.
