I was thinking more along the lines of a standoff weapon. Maybe rocket powered rather than just a glider, with better than 20 mile range. Carry four or more in a B-1 or B-2 and launch at 90 second intervals or launch them together but give them different flight paths to achieve a staggered arrival at the target.
My main point of curiosity was to know if each successive bomb would penetrate deeper, or if the crater would fall in on itself giving little or no additional penetration for the subsequent bombs.
