To: Shooter 2.5

The serial numbers had been removed from this gun. I believe that is a federal crime and I don't know any gun owner (and I carry one daily as do many of my friends) who would even have that in their possession. I have little doubt that ballistic testing will link it to a crime or two or three. I'm sorry, but I don't think anyone EXCEPT a criminal would keep a gun which had the numbers removed.

Her story is that it belonged to her som (one of the 14 children a day killed by guns). She found it after he died, and didn't know what to do with it. "should I turn this over the police, or put in a drwaer and forget about it? Decisions. Secisions"
