Not much usually gets fixed without a ground swell of public opinion for or against one thing or another. The politicians care about their cushy jobs more than anything else. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. As the nation continues to voice its opinion against illegal immigration and answers to our porous borders, the good time Charlie's will come rolling in singing to the beat of the band. The president recognizes the problem with the border, his ability to change his stance to conform to an evolving tide of public opinion depends on us. We need to support him without fear of offering alternatives to any initial solutions. I love this president, he's not perfect, but he is honest, he has done one hell of a job so far, and has our best intentions at heart. Lets help him, and not feed the appeasers on the left their lunch by how we go about helping him. We can fix the border, together.

"We can fix the border, together."
I agree. But that "together" means some input from the feds, not just the BLM or forest service, which is all the help offered so far.
