We Must Stop Democrat Doris Matsui
Flynn for Congress ^ | 03/02/2005 | Vanity

Posted on 03/02/2005 12:32:39 PM PST by RWGuy

Democrat Doris Matsui is trying to win election to fill the seat formerly held by her late husband Robert Matsui. Matsui recently passed away - making the seat vacant.

In about 1 week there will be a Special Election. To stop Doris Matsui we need to keep her under 50% + 1 vote. We need FReepers from all over the United States to come together and take action.

I recommend FReepers support John Thomas Flynn. He has new radio ads he is airing. You can learn more about him here:

Flynn's Top Three issues are:

* Securing Our Borders

* Fighting the War on Terrorism

* Reforming Social Security

I'm biased. I work for Flynn's campaign.

So yeah, everyone SHOULD support Flynn. It's an important off year election, and national Republicans need to come on board to help Flynn keep Matsui under 50%.

This is Nancy Pelosi's top priority. The Dems have even brought in their Palm Pilots to run practice drills for GOTV efforts for the 2006 elections, since things didn't go well in 2005.

What are Doris's positions? Why are they so bad and flynn's in comparison so good?

Do some work for us rather than just barging in.

I'll post a few Doris positions for you. I can post more, but RWGuy can do that if need be.

Doris opposes the war in Iraq.
Doris supports the right for same sex couples to be legally married.
Doris opposes President Bush's tax cuts.
Doris thinks are immigration laws are too strict and creates problems with Mexico.

Doris Matsui's positions on those issues are reason enough for me to vote for Flynn.

The Dems have even brought in their Palm Pilots

That pic is FUNNY! Those people are looking at the Palm Pilots like the cavemen probably looked at the first wheel.

What is this thing?

Doris opposes the war in Iraq.

Doris supports the right for same sex couples to be legally married.

That means she wants to Adulterate Marriage.

Doris opposes President Bush's tax cuts.

Doris thinks are immigration laws are too strict and creates problems with Mexico.

Typical Democrat.

Impeach gave the highlights.

It is pretty simple. Doris Matsui, formerly of the Clinton White House, has the support of the liberal Democrat establishment, led by Nancy Pelosi. That says it all. She is your typical liberal Democrat on everything.

Flynn is the leading Republican candidate, having been appointed twice by President Ronald Reagan. That should say enough about him. In addition, was head of technology for Governor Bill Weld and Governor Pete Wilson. Competent.

This is not a hard one to figure out. Bush is under all-out assault by the Democrats on everything. Since this is the only special election in the country, everyone is going to be reading the results like tea leaves.

So it is important for conservatives to beat expectations. If we can hold Matsui to less than 50%, then there is a run-off in 4 weeks. That will make it a race of national importance. So it is important to jump in now and make that happen.

John Thomas Flynn:

Was an appointee of Reagan and Bush. Worked for 2 Republican Governor's as the first CIO for Massachusetts and California (Chief Information Officer), served as advisor to Schwarzenegger's California Performance Review, hi-tech executive. You can hear Flynn's bio HERE

Supports Bush tax cuts
Has made securing our borders one of his top issues
Backed Bush's call for reforming Social Security
Supports Schwarzenegger's push for redistricting
Pro Second Amendment

Hopeless is what they said about the recall of Governor Gray Davis in California.

You are right that this would be hopeless in a November high turn-out election because the district is gerrymandered very badly.

However, this is a special election with low turn-out. The motivated and hard-working will win.

This is an opportunity to show the public is fed up with Democrats and supports the President's agenda. That's why it is important that we force the run-off and focus national attention.

Democrats have spent over $700,000 already to try to lock up this race in the Special Election.

Democrat registration is only 51% and I think that we can win this race, but first we have to make sure Doris is forced into a runoff election. If nothing else it will humiliate Pelosi and the national Democrats in an off-year election. Can you imagine them wasting all that money and AGAIN having a failure on their hands.

The big issue in the runoff will be a series of Matsui scandals that are just now starting to be reported: Matsui Involved in Several Scandals, Here is One

Matsui is almost guaranteed a victory.

Something like 37 of 38 widows have won their deceased husbands seat.

Flynn is my kind of guy. He gets my vote. I'm pleased to see this information. I sent an e-mail to the Sacramento County Republican Committee asking for a recommendation for this race, and got the reply that all of the Republican candidates are qualified and to look at their websites. That's fine, but it would be nice if the district Republicans could get together and make a concerted effort, rather than diluting our votes over several candidates. Again, thanks for the info.

Lotsa luck! Fact is, approx. 90% of widows of Congressmen who seek their office, get elected. Widda Carnahan. Capps. Bono. Boggs. They normally get a pass for one term. If they screw up? Buh-bye.

Thanks for the good wishes! I hope if nothing else we hope to block The Widow Matsui from winning the election outright in the Special Election.
