He's an absolute liar. One of his followers a few years ago went on a shooting spree, wounding several and killing 2. One of the victims lived within about 2 miles of me at the time, a black basketball coach at Northwestern U.

I have no idea whether this guy is guilty or not but it seems reasonable that they are investigating him and his group. Just hope LE, with msm cooperation, doesn't put on the blinders as in the D.C. "Sniper" case and focus on politically acceptable suspects to the exclusion of others.
I thought that Illinois still had the death penalty despite Ryan's commutation of sentences.

I think they do still have a death penalty. Ryan just lifted the death sentence for the inmates currently on death row. It does not apply to new applicants. So there is still hope.
