.."From here on out, RATHER's toughest job might be convincing conservative critics that he's not a LIBERALLY BIASED JOURNALIST. Bloggers and columnists cited his run-ins with Republican presidents as evidence of his political agenda"..
....shares Los Angeles Times Reporter SCOTT COLLINS, 3/7/2005

...Longtime LIBERAL Los Angeles Times Media Critic DAVID SHAW still tells us that...
...RATHER's work 'Shoddy, Slipshod' not LIBERAL..?
I don't mind that he had run ins with Republican presidents. What I mind is he didn't equally have run ins with Democrat presidents...thus showing his bias. No politician should get a free pass from the press regardless of party affiliation. Rather, on the other hand is a hack.
'Shoddy, Slipshod' not LIBERAL..?
I thought Shoddy and Slipshod WAS Liberal. What's the difference? Did you ever hear a Liberal candidate whose thinking and ideas were NOT shoddy, slipshod and well....you know?
Well, then how come his shoddy, slipshod mistakes always end up hurting conservatives -- since the very beginning? Just a coincidence?
"shoddy and slipshod," meaning "negligent", as opposed to "liberal," meaning "deliberately deceptive."
Yeah, okay Danny Boy. We read you loud and clear.
DAVID SHAW: RATHER's work 'Shoddy, Slipshod' not LIBERAL..?
He's not a liberally biased journalist because he's not a journalist. He's a hack reporter.
"I think Dan's great strength is also his weakness," Schieffer said. "He was willing to go anywhere, anytime, to cover a story. I think Dan's downfall is that CBS expected too much of him."
Nice try. However, Rather's downfall was that he was a lying leftist who got caught.
wasn't it Gunga Dan that said in an interview with either Hillary or Bill said "if the country could be half as great as you two have been" or something like that. I wish someone could provide a more accurate quote.
Dan you will be no loss.
Rather goes -but-
Hillary keeps going, and going, and going...

Hillary Clinton to speak to DFLers
Updated: 03-07-2005 10:07:19 AM
ST. PAUL (AP) - U.S. Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton will be the keynote speaker at the DFL's annual Hubert H. Humphrey Day Dinner.
The dinner is April 9th at the Minneapolis Hilton.
Clinton was elected to the Senate from New York in 2000 and is widely considered to be a likely candidate for president in 2008.
That's not what Walter Cronkite says!
"I've learned to trust the audience," he said.
Well, you've been in tank for ten years; take the hint, Dan.
"The harshest critic could not be nearly as hard on me as I am on myself."
Oh, I don't think so, Dan.
Oh, I don't think so, Dan.
Yeah, really. I don't either!
I guess it's still up to us Freepers, then, reformjoy..?
