New Haven is where I discovered what true brick oven pizza was about. I also realized something about Wooster Street. There is NO reason to wait in line for pizza in New Haven. There are many places that were as good as Sally's and Pepe's but just didn't get the press. Modern Apizza is just as good and has tables open.
Town Pizza was always my favorite. I'd never had Greek pizza before moving to New Haven. Nothing like white pie with spinach and feta.
