The only good thing I can say about this is that the Dept. of Families is beginning to find these kids before they are murdered. They've still got a ways to go, though, before they convince me that they are truly doing a good job.

Oh dear God!!! What is wrong with people? If these two idiots were fortunate to be blessed with a child (foster or not)- what were they thinking? And he lived for 10 years like this? There should be a special hell for abusing little ones.

Police said the Sullivans have only told investigators they kept the teen inside the locked crib because he was gorging himself on food at night. Yep, starvation will cause that anomaly. You MORON!

The fathers sister was on the tv last night. She was defending them saying the boy had problems and they all knew what was happening. She claims they were good parents with a disturbed boy..yeah caging and starving is the right treatment. I think all those relatives should be charged too.

The 17-year-old, who had been with the couple for 10 years Where in the heck was the social worker and regular home visits! (rhetorical question)
They didn't drop the ball, they let it roll in the gutter and get washed away down the sewer.

What is going on in Florida?
Yet another well run government program. Why don't we make all services for the poor and children full blown charities, and get the government out of it? Charities would be accountable, and would only get donations if they ran a good program. The government agencies are not accountable, and the idiots who work in these programs do a very poor job. The most you hear is some useless press conference where some higher up in the department person, who of course knew nothing of the existence of the child, say geez, sorry, this is real bad, and we will look into it.

The Sullivans are being held under $200,003 bond . . . Ok, someone has to ask the question. Why $200,003? Is this someone's idea of a joke? And why only $200 thou?
To: Frank_Discussion
It's society's fault not the parents. At least that is what someone scum lawyer will try to push in court.
