You jest, but guess who owns the world's 25th largest airline.

Do you have a source for this? There is so much misinformation floating around about Wal-Mart that I'd like to see it.

I wouldn't trust them. All their money is made in china.

LOL. Do you even know what Wal-Mart is? Can't tell from the above.

Want to have mischievous (but not illegal) fun at Wal-Mart? I saw a guy with a little tiny remote that codes itself to just about any remotely-controlled TV and allows you to turn it off, turn it on, change channels, change volume and mute or unmute it. Too funny watching the clerk continually having to readust the TVs every few minutes and wondering what was going on. Freepmail for source he gave me.

Well, a bouquet of flowers and a little white lacy teddy with garters....

Imagine what she looked like.

Costco pays their employees more, offers better benefits at more reasonable prices, and yet offers the same pricing level on their goods as a Sam's Club. And they don't seem to be hurting, they're profitable and have over 450 stores all over. What are they doing that Sam's Club isn't? Perhaps they treat their employees as an asset rather than a disposable item?

Just poking fun at all the Wal-Mart haters.

And that would be why I am a member of Costco and not Sam's Club....I refuse to be assimilated.

I used to belong to Sam's. I find Costco cleaner and better organized, the people are more helpful, the products and prices are pretty much the same, and Costco runs specials that allows me to save even more.

Different set of priorities. Costco decided a great way to reduce costs is to not have to train new employees constantly so they focused on employee retention, WalMart (and Sam's Club) are focused on direct cost of labor and don't worry about training costs.

And why not WalMart Real Estate ?
WMT Auto Dealership ?
WMT Funeral Services ?
WMT Insurance Co. ?
.......

They tried the Auto Dealership here in MO. Didn't work. Too much competition already.

It's a good thing that Costco has those 449 other stores because the one where I live that is within a mile of the Sam's Club is always empty.

I had a membership to Costco when they first opened and when they were free. I pay to go to Sam's.

Wal-Mart is starting to show the same kind kinks in it's armor that K-Mart had before they declined. One thing I notice now adays at Wally Mart is the lack of cashiers at the Supercenter that is only two miles from my home. They have 40+ check out stands. In the mornings, likewise in the evenings there will be maybe 8 to 12 working and you wait in line for ever while the cashier scans each item one by one and bags it her/himself. That is what was happening at the Super K's before Katty Mart took the fall.

When doing grocery shopping I rather drive another 7 miles to HEB and get in and get out.

Did you know that Hillary Rodham-Clinton was on the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of Wal-Mart before she came to the White House?......

My In-laws use Sam's Club...they have some different brands but I agree, I would much rather shop in a Costco then Sam's. They are always so crowded, dirty, etc. And I love their hot dogs. :)

Ultimately, W-M will also outflank the US gummint. They are well on their way to financing the next war with China. Trouble is, they are financing the wrong side. Here's the golden rule: In case of an atomic attack, the best thing is to dive under your desk or bed and pray a lot. It won't help, but you made the gesture.

AS per my experence in banking, they will find the cheapist labor and load the most amount of work possible on them, yes they will find a place were humans have few rights. Slave labor if you will.

About the only benefit to Sam's is that their pizza is better than Costco's.
