When is the NYT's going to tell the American people, Democrats excluded, something we don't already know?

The United Nations, worried that the nuclear material and equipment could be used in clandestine bomb production, has been hunting for it throughout the Middle East, largely unsuccessfully, the Times said.

The UN is "hunting" for something they said doesn't exist, and the NY Times is reporting it?

Is this an alternate reality?

This story validates my suspicion that the WMD's were removed before and shortly after the beginning of the war. But George W. Bush never "LIED" about their existence like the liberals like to claim.

how many rats based their voting in november 2004 on this one issue?

that "bush lied to us".

when we knew damn well that president bush had the same information that john kerry, hillary clinton, ted kennedy, tom daschle ad infinitum had.

you'd have to be a moron to watch television as your source of "news".

In a stunning about-face, the New York Times reported Sunday that when the U.S. attacked Iraq in March 2003, Saddam Hussein possessed "stockpiles of monitored chemicals and materials,"

Geez, at times NewsMax gets as stupid as WingNutDaily.
.

Key word there is "monitored." The monitored stuff wasn't in violation of UN resolutions. This isn't exactly some startling revelation.

calling on the interim Iraqi government to start the process of accounting for the missing stockpiles

Sounds like the slimes is trying to get the current Iraqi government to tip it's hand on what it knows about the missing WMD. Funny how they demand accountability now...
