You Who.
Thanks. I only buy Made in USA, when available.
I like Wilkow BTW. Do you know - Does he have streaming of his show?

Oh no did this turn into a Union site! I shop for value.
Is made in the USA! And PROUD!
Thanks for posting this!
I forget, do you have a made in the USA page on your site?
Good point! Now, if this was a list of American companies that do not allow unions . . . hmmm, might give that one some consideration. : )
Bump to file
Thanks
but if say, 10% more Americans starting today tried their best to buy Made in America stuff...it would send a message......
you know what I love?.....I love the after-holiday sales where if you are patient enough, you can get all that Made in China seasonal stuff for $.10 on the dollar....I figure it shows those discount places a thing or two when they make NO money on that stuff....
AFter reading about the uaw banning marines from their parking lot and that they vote dem, I'm regretting my American car purchase.
MArk, I would agree, except for the fact that idiots at the top of an organization do not constitute the people who they claim to represent. Just as the NEA does NOT represent my wonderful mother-in-law teacher the UAW does not fully or well represent the American Auto Worker who in the end gets more screwed by Unions, in my opinion, than helped. There is a balance and UAW often goes overboard left when they react.

I try very hard to not buy Chinese stuff. I bought my Bose wave radio/CD when I found out it was made in USA.
I apologize that I meant to address that last post to you and NOT to Mark
Are you serious? Carharts are made in Mexico now, my LaCrosse boots, once the best in the USA, are now made in China! On and on it goes.
Standing United,
Yes, I would say they can be bought. I agree with you that some may. Just like New Balance sneakers. You will now see that many are made out of the country but a division of them still exists and are made in the US. THAT ought to be supported. Thats the sneaker I buy, the MADE IN USA New Balance.
Regards
My Nissan was built in Smyrna, Tennessee. I don't feel guilty at all.
Red Wing boots are made in the US but they are union.
Serotta Bicycles bump.

Or American companies that provide value inspite of a union....as if. :-)
"Buy American" is a deep spiritual and philosophical discussion to a union thug.
Are they union shops? Will they allow this former Marine Reservist with a "W" sticker on his foreign made computer click through?
Yep. Except when it applies to the Honda I used to own that was made in Ohio, but they did approve of my Plymouth that was made in Japan. Go figure.
I have PointerBrand jeans ... very comfortable ... love them ... reasonably priced
I have quantum cottom khakis ... like them as well ... a little bit more expensive
"My Nissan was built in Smyrna, Tennessee. I don't feel guilty at all."
The profits from the purchase of your Nissan are going to the Japanese economy.
Our trade deficit would be vastly reduced if people stopped buying foreign cars. My '98 Mustang has 90,000 miles on it and has never given me any trouble - period. An automobile is the second largest purchase after a home. Think of how much better our economy would be if people stopped buying German cars. Every now and then I see some people driving Renault and Peugot, I always wonder what could have possibly induced them to buy a French car. Oh, and by the way, there's not a lot of difference between a Corvette and a Ferrari, unless you're a professional race driver with an extra $175K. A good FReeper poll would be: how many foreign cars do you own?
open it up and look inside...the "package" may be made here...but the individual components may not have...
Who is "they".
Buddy's Jeans plant is only 15 miles or so from my country place. My MIL worked there for many years prior to her death.
Ping for later....
Oh, for a sec I thought you were working within a union and with union thugs or something. I did for a brief time in january.
As a former card carrying union member, I understand.
I used to think that, too. Until I went thru five transmissions in my Ford Windstar in 83,000 miles. That was the last straw with my dedication to US cars. Until they start making their cars like Japan (and S. Korea), I will have to buy foreign.
My 1991 Nissan Sentra has 144,000 miles and has never given me ANY trouble - period. And, the employees in Smyrna appreciate my business, although not very often. I am still contributing to the US economy. I still don't feel guilty. ;>)

I bought my 88 Accord USED. It now has over 250k on it and runs great!!! My Buick Century has been sitting in the driveway for over a year with a tranny that won't shift out of low. Eventually I'll creep it to a junk yard.
Goodonya. I hope to get that much out of mine.
Don't let it overheat and you should have no problems.. :)
I buy Korean cars. Why? Because not one cent of mine is going to union mobsters and union communist thugs if I can help it.
Korean - no way.
I have a '91 Pontiac Firebird that I bought new with the old Chevy small block V-8 that just goes and goes - I'm nearing 180,000 miles. The main problem I have with it is that I've worn out the driver's seat. But the car was assembled in Canada (French Canada, of all the God-forsaken places)so does that count?
