One day the fetus is known as Connor and the next it is known as fetus. I love the media.

Well, you can't officially have a name unless you have a birth certificate. And you can't have a birth certificate if you haven't been born. So, I guess technically, "fetus" is the proper term in this case.

Technically, I suppose you have a point.

But just a reminder (and an unnecessary one, I'm sure) - Scott was convicted of murdering him, name or not.

I'd be curious how the statute used in that case reads.

Spare me, please. If this were your son would you be calling him fetus?

Be thankful they even mentioned fetus. The updated story makes no mention of it.

Scott Peterson was sentenced to death Wednesday for murdering his pregnant wife, Laci, more than two years ago.

All of your logic is immaterial as we are dealing with feminist word games here. Per feminists, a baby is a baby only if it's mother wants it. If the mother does not want the baby, it is a lump of cells and called a fetus.

One needn't be born to have a name:
Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn
The power of man, for none of woman born
Shall harm Macbeth. (Macbeth, Act 4, Scene 1)

. . .

Despair thy charm;
And let the angel whom thou still hast served
Tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb
Untimely ripp'd. (Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 8)

Connor was found outside Lacy's womb, albeit with the cord attached, presumably, like Macduff, untimely ripp'd.

LOL, I guess all those children in the Bible and throughout history didn't "officially" have a name.

Officially according to whom?

There have been people ion the past who were told to give their child a particular name. Whether or not your an atheist doesn't change that. Scott Petersen committed double murder. Life, according to science, begins with DNA. DNA begins at conception.

It's so sad, all those generations of nameless people born before the creation of birth certificates.

I heard that everyone just went around as "hey you" back then.

Rubbish.

That's the Billion-Dollar aborttoir-industry's term.

Unborn Baby are the American words for the second Human being he is convicted of slaughtering.

So sayeth the State. This "well-reasoned" argument affirms the totality of your indoctrination. Congratulations.

Personally, I prefer the term "baby."
