Terri's husband has conveniently prohibited all taping of Terri pleadings
To: spycatcher
This is absoultely nuts, how about asking the cops who saw her talk to testify?
To: Floratina
Well, let's see.
Since the statement before she said 'I waaaaant', was, "Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over.", it's a pretty good assumption.

If this is indeed even true, what makes you think she was trying to say that she wanted to live? I'm sure she was just trying to say "I waaaant - my MTV." Yeah that's the ticket. /sarcasm
Show some compassion.

Judge has barred all audio video tapes in Terri's room.

If this is indeed even true, what makes you think she was trying to say that she wanted to live? Good point. The presumption must be that she wants to die. Unless she can PROVE beyond a reasonable doubt that she wants to live, we should kill her.
To: aft_lizard
This isn't surprising for those who know about her case. The only difference this time was that the cops had to come in and stop her attemped communication.
For an account of a visit with her last month where she tries her best:

Word of this gets to Gass'um Greer and he'll order in no uncerttain terms, "I don't want anyone talking to that woman!"

I thought she was brain dead. A casual observation of video clips of her condition makes it obvious she is aware of her surroundings and reacting to them. But she has a severely limited ability to move, she is unable to speak, and currently unable to eat -- although many therapists seem to believe she could make progress on all these areas if her husband would allow such treatment.
This is certainly not what I would call brain dead.

Again, if this actually happened, according to this account, she didn't finish the statement. She could have been wanting to say, "I want you to leave me alone to die". You are putting the words that you want to hear in her mouth.
To: Floratina
Well, no, because Michael has consistently disallowed cameras in Terri's room after family-recorded videos like
this one got released to the Internet. Otherwise, people like you may be convinced Terri is not a vegetable and has the potentail to be rehabilitated (it hasn't been tried). And THAT would be a) dangerous to the cause of legal euthanasia, and (most importantly to Michael) b) dangerous to Michael as Terri might someday be able to tell the world how she GOT where she's at.

If this is indeed even true, what makes you think she was trying to say that she wanted to live? You're right! She could have been trying to say "I want certain idiots that think I might want to be cruelly starved to death to be buried up to their necks in fire ant hills and then be giving a week of meditation and quiet time to consider why they are not consider BRAIN DEAD.".
To: Recovering_Democrat
Why do you think MS, Felos, & Greer don't want anyone to see her?
