Official After-Action Thread: March 19 Fayetteville, NC Support Our Troops Rally
Freepers, lurkers and assorted patriots ^ | March 19, 2005 | Constitution Day

Posted on 03/19/2005 5:03:49 PM PST by Constitution Day

Today we met in Fayetteville, NC to Freep a motley rabble of socialists, anarchists, Code Pink-os, and other throwbacks to the 60's! As usual, we were well outnumbered by their hordes of college students, aging hippies and other bused-in protestors, but we held our own as always.

Please post any reports and observations on this thread only.

Thanks for the ping! I took a bunch of photos- but won't be able to post them until Monday.

I was most impressed with the wife of one of our soldiers who was there with her 5 month old son. Her husband is at war for our freedom.

She was a class act,a beautiful young lady who was very informed on why her husband was overseas.

What a dichotomy she was with those soul-less ,old lesbian hippies we saw in pink.

I had to leave around 3:15- did anyone figure out what the hub-bub was with the all police about that time?

It was very cool to meet so many great Freepers!

Everyone should go to a local freep when they get a chance!

A couple of the "great unwashed" got in a fight amongst themselves.

It was SO much fun. I had never seen so many mangy-looking people together in one place. The local police had to stand in a line in front of our area because the leftists kept trying to come over to our side and cause trouble. We got a few laughs out of the police when we started chanting. They seemed to like "Swim to Cuba!" For some reason, the other really funny chant we had has temporarily escaped me.

Medea Benjamin herself came over to our area more than once to try to cause trouble. She was a little upset at our MOAB (Mother of All Banners). I'm sure Constitution Day will put the photo of that up.

I don't know. One didn't want to share his peace pipe with the other?

Didn't it have something to do with the "Brown Acid"?

I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow. I just bought my camera, and I'm still learning to use it.

*snicker* Perhaps one took exception to the odorous aurora of the other and flipped out! (Freaks)I am sorry- but it appears to me that all these people have is anger, hatred and trying to bully someone.

So if it doesn't work on us they turn on each other! (Freaks) Am I bad for hoping they both got some good licks in before the police had to jump on them to diffuse the situation?

Didn't it have something to do with the "Brown Acid"?

That was it! Doctor Raoul read out "public service announcements" over his megaphone warning the moonbats that the brown acid was "not very good."
