There are now 101 "Free Staters" who have moved to New Hampshire.

The Free State Project is a movment working to bring 20,000 freedom lovers into New Hampshire and create a haven for liberty...

Virtually all 101 have become active in New Hampshire politics, either in media, legislation or by running for office. They have formed a PAC, a charity to help kids escape public schools, completed hundreds of letters to the editor and talk radio appeareances in-state. They've also established New Hampshire's most active web forum (nhfree.com) and several now hold minor public offices. Other accomplishments include the establishment of a "liberty index" which rates local politicians on their freedom-friendliness: www.nhliberty.org/research

The surpise effectiveness of this "early migrant" group and the discovery that Democrats have only a thousand or so hard core activists in state has led to speculation that 20,000 may not be required. This is good news for the liberty migrants, because FSP recruitment is down.

Details on migration statistics are at http://freestateproject.org/about/move_plans.php

Interesting. While the rest of us shut up and take it it sounds like these folks are getting busy.

After they secure New Hampshire, they need to do something about Vermont.

Could they possibly have picked a warmer state? NH is cold in the winter. More people will come to a nice warm place.

imho
