Yes, buy the time to build all three layers of defense and a faster offense for Israel. Then leave the western Euros to deal with Iran by themselves. That would take care of the Iranian threat against Israel and most of the foreign support (Italy, Germany, UK, and the like) for identity groups that call us "neo-cons" and work against defense here.

The French sold the US out for financial gain. For Israel it is a matter of life or death. Not the same stakes; not the same judgment.

In addition don't be so sure that US and Israel aren't on the same page.

Oh how I wish Israel was to had made a deal with India to have its rockets that are returning from the moon (Unmanned) to re-enter the atmosphere off course and land *spectacularly* in Iran.
