Judy Woodruff, of CNN's Inside Politics, just revealed how slavishly she identifies with the NOW/NARAL gang. Referring to Dem senatorial candidate Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, she described him as "anti-abortion rights" rahter than "pro-life."
What are the odds Woodruff refers to people on the other side as anything but "pro-choice"?
Of course not. She's anti-life.
Pro-choice: Will Kill for Sex.
And I have no idea why Woodruf is still on the air. She's a dingbat.
She would never do that, since she's anti-life.
She would have labeled abolitionists anti-property-rights.
Good one!
Boy, the lag between post time and when posts show up on a thread is really long today.
Excuse my ignorance - but, is this by chance the son of the late PA Governor that was denied the opportunity to address the 1992 Dim convention because he was pro life? If so, apparently, the nut does not fall far from the tree.
Hey, who you callin' a nut? ;-)
Yes, he is indeed the son of the late governor who was denied the chance to speak at a DNC.
Not a word from anyone.
Thanks for the update. That's interesting. I figured someone would point out the 'nut' reference. That from a Buckeye nut in Ohio.
I hope people will be on the lookout for, and alert us, the next time Woodruff describes someone who is pro-abortion rights, to see if she describes him as "pro-choice" or something else.
Obviously it would be entirely outrageous if "pro-choice" people get their preferred label, but not "pro-lifers."
Uh-oh. Now someone from Michigan is sure to get into the "buckeye is a poisonous nut" thing!
Bobby Casey, Jr. Flips on Abortion?
According to the American Spectator, sources with the Senate Democratic leadership indicated Mr. Casey "was supportive of (Senate Minority Leader) Reid's leadership and was comfortable with the party's position on abortion, stem cell research, and the filibustering of President Bush's federal judicial nominees." Moreover, one Democratic leadership staffer told the Spectator that "everyone was assured that Casey was going to hang tough with us on reproductive rights and judges." ("A Team Divided," American Spectator, 3/14/05)
Interesting. Bob Novak, whom Woodruff was interviewing, did mention that Casey had indicated that he would support Dem efforts to block W's judicial nominees, and Novak concluded that "Casey is more liberal than he earlier appeared to be."
He's always been liberal, and his father was a big liberal - somehow he got looked at as being somewhat conservative because of the abortion issue. But if you take that out of the equation, Casey and Casey Jr. are just as liberal as Ted Kennedy. Take it from me, a Pennsylvania resident.
Just a friendly PSA
Pro-death.
