Howeve, in keeping with ou pevious comments, I submit:
I have head some outage fom libs ecently egarding the death of a child in Texas and healthcae.
They are tying to say that Bush passed a law in his home state back in '99 that foced a child to die.
Hee's my obsevation upon eading Texas State Senate Bill numbeed 1260, signed in in Sping of 1999.
This law equies not only a thid person, but it also equies consent on pat of the paty involved pio to accepting teatment.
These libs are speading more half tuths.
"These libs are spreading more half truths."
Gee.
I guess there's a first time for everything.
::::rolls eyes::::
Actually, my understanding is both. He has spent some, but a great deal remains in trust fund that has been accumulating. He stands to inherit a great deal of money.
What are you talking about? The only people in this country who appear to be concerned and willing to help with the issues in the Sudan are believers. You think Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Kerry, et al give a rip?
Yes, what's one life.....
Besides, I don't know why we are even having this conversation now. Those who are rubbing their hands together, standing at death's door of her room have won. You got your way....she's in her last hours. No more to be said.
You DO know what story I'm referring to, right?
The one with the 6 month old who had its life supprt (note: NOT feeding tube) removed. It died in a couple of hours.
The libs have ben playing it up recently trying to discredit Bush.
Well, I decided something was not right with their story. I found the Bill they referred to (which in itself, was a suprise) and that's the conclussion I came to when reading the bill- That the parents not only signed the childs life willingly, but it required an outside authority (not an involved party, nor the physician treating the patient) AS WELL!
The bill was a safe guard, and the parents still felt it was time to let the baby go. They even get 10 days to find another facility that would be willing to treat the patient.
The child didn't die BECAUSE of the bill, the child died IN SPITE of the bill.
Laura, wish that it were, the President does not have that power. Congress does, (the subpoena), but does not have law enforcement quickly able to execute congressional orders by force.
No, the real problem here is that the good guys have waited too long to act and have not been creative in their planning. In the battle between the stupid and the evil, the evil will win.
The murder of Christians in Sudan (or anywhere) is reprehensible. There, because of the lack of law, it is simply a matter of applying lethal force to the evil scum that are perpetrating this genocide. Because of liberal socialist obstructers here and in the UN it is unlikely that there will be the necessary force applied.
Here, a legal system that should protect Terri, has been hijacked and perverted by liberal socialist lawyers and judges into a tyranny that murders Christian women one at a time. Because of DemoRat liberal socialists obstructers it is unlikely that reform of the courts that are murdering Terri will succeed in time.
As a Christian, your enemy is the liberal socialist, as is Terri's. One murder is too many, and worth noticing and opposing no matter where.
Vegetable lady? Not to worry, conserv....you are going to get your wish for her death.
I think we actually have a Christophobe here in conservlib. His hatred for believers is palpable.
"So, by that logic any patient who is a quadraplegic and can't speak should be killed by being starved and dehydrated over a period of long weeks. Lovely."
Who is also, non-responsive. Even a blind, deaf quadraplegic can respond if given the proper signals.
The UN desperately tried to stop us from taking out Saddam Insane, but he was a danger to America so the UN and their buddy Saddam were out of luck. Sudan is not near the danger that Saddam was so in spite of having a good guy currently in office it is unlikely that the proper force will be used in Sudan because of the negative publicity involved. There are and will be much negotiation and sanctions and they will do no appreciable good.
