Terri Brother ..................Terri early on in a hospice .................. Michael has let his wife deteriate!
Compare the early Hospice Photo
At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!
Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!
...for reading.
Rush is really letting them have it.
CTR
Thank you. We should probably have a Live talk show thread in general to monitor the counter offensive waged by the MSM to deny Terri her life.
I thank Rush for standing firm for terri.
Does anyone know if someone other than this discredited Dr. Hammesfahr(sp?) has ever claimed that Mrs. Schiavo could ever walk with the parallel bars or swallow?
Thanks for the thread. I am not the greatest RL fan , but right now we need ALL the EXPOSURE we can and Rush is definitely the ONE to do that. Listening right now.
Polly
Who says he's discredited, you? I have yet to see any SUBSTANCE that discredits him.
Why is he discredited? I heard he is a great doctor!
bump for Terri
is picture number 2 the same woman for sure?
Tell you what. As soon as you produce evidence backing up your "discredited" claim, we'll scrape up some more witnesses to the swallowing and parallel bars.
When will the govt deny citizens life-saving medications (hypertension, cholesterol, etc.)? Supposing we took Ted Kennedy's liquor cabinet away. How long would he live afterwards?
yep that is Terri. This photo is on the www.terrisfight.org
God bless Rush, he just laid into the dems for somehow getting away with being the party of civil rights.
Look, I am 100% opposed to starving Mrs. Schiavo to death. I think it's barbaric. I also think there are MANY good, solid arguments that can be made in defense of my position. However, I think that there is also a lot of disinformation out there which tend to discredit those of us who staunchly oppose this barbarism. Hannity and others putting forth this guy as some sort of expert is one example.
Just the nurses who cared for her and 34 other doctors.
Rush- In all those times this happens thousands of time a day, how many were by judicial/governmental decree? Paraphrased about the feeding tube.
bttt
Please see my post #16. I'm on your side. Personally I believe whether or not Mrs. Schiavo will "recover" is completely irrelevant.
How exactly has the Dr. been discredited?
Won't be lone before they won't treat smokers or alcholics.
Hey, that's not fair - Teddy Kennedy just offered to take Terri for a ride ...
If it's an overwhelming consensus, then produce some links please.
thanks! I'm so humbled by this case, I can't tell you how sick it makes me how government pursues by the book because of hearsay. That's what Michael Schiavo's only argument is - hearsay. And we're willing to let a woman starve over hearsay.
What's happening to our culture?
Whether or not he "remembered" Terri making a statement about what she wanted in this type of situation is clearly not why he is carrying out his actions now. A real, loving man would have acted much differently. He was entitled, after years of the reality of her situation was obvious, to make a new life for himself. He should have divorced Terri when he became involved with another woman. I do not fault him for that desire. I do fault him for not simply deciding that he had tried all that he felt he could/should and realize that it was time to move on. By saying that he did his best, and placing Terri in the hands of her parents to decide her future, he would have not only been more manly, but also more loving toward her.
If he truly loved this new woman, and their children, he would not subject them to such chaos either. He has no love for any woman. His agenda is self-centered and uncompassionate.
Do you have links to any of this info? I am not disputing your claim, I just want to see it. I truly hope you're right.
Anyway, here's the story regarding Hammesfahr. He was thoroughly investigated by the Florida State Dept of Health after neurologists in Florida filed a complaint against him. The basis of their complaint was that Dr. Hammesfahr claimed his treatments could improve stroke patients whose injuries had been diagnosed as permanent. The complaining neurologists stated that this couldn't be true, so Dr. Hammesfahr must be a fraud. After hearing and reviewing all the evidence, the administrative law judge appointed to the case concluded that Dr. Hammesfahr's therapy did in fact successfully restore previously permanent deficits caused by a stroke. It's interesting how some people will want us to believe everything Judge Greer decides, but will not want us to believe what Judge Kirkland decided about Dr. Hammesfahr.
Medicare also spent 4 years investigating Dr. Hammesfahr. They determined that most of the patients Dr. Hammesfahr treated for previously diagnosed permanent neurological damages did improve with his techniques.
I guess the choice is whether to believe Medicare and the Florida State Dept of Health.
he wasn't discredited, but Felos and the Tampa area death-society found him too powerful a witness and launched a smear campaign.
The doctor was completely exhonorated(sp?)
He's a monster. Have you ever seen him? Sociopathic monster.
Here's one: http://www.casewatch.org/civil/schiavo.shtml
That would require some intelligence - or at least some semblance of morality. But, just like the eugenicists in fascist Germany, I'm sure they've told themselves that death is generally in the best interest of the "inferior" or those who are a "drain on society."
I am afraid Terri is not going to make it this time; what a terrible way to die.
IMO, the issue lies more with George Felos/hospice where Terri is being kept. It seems, at least to me, that there's some heavy duty fraud that's been going on.

Medicaid, Medicare Fraud Evident In Schiavo Hospice Certification
Ping!
"What is truth?" I've heard that spoken before ... Ponitous Pilate as he washed his hands of the matter.

What is really interesting is how Judge Greer dismisses any evidence contrary to his a priori notion that Terri Schiavo expressed informed consent to have food and water removed from her diet.
I've seen no such overwhelming consenous. I believe the judge ignored him and one other who reported that she could make progress. Three others disagreeded with them. This makes him a quack? As for being an "expert" doesn't he work with people in her condition for a living? Does this make him a novice? There have been numerous reports of progress by Terri Schivo, other than this guys opinion, from nurses and staff at her numerous nursing homes. Are they quacks, as they clearly disagree with the other 3 doctors? They work day in and day out with severely disabled people. Are they also novices?
No history being taught. And CERTAINLY nothing about how Mengele's research and tactics were folded into American medicine.
What I wonder is if all this evidence existed before why has it not been presented in her former court cases and been shown by the media? Doesn't it seem odd that if the family could prove their case they would not have presented these pictures long ago? Where did they come from and when did they turn up? Was her husband hiding them? If this was presented why did the judges over look it time after time? Something is weird here. Remind me never to go to court in Florida. They seem to mess everything up when it comes to legal matters.
Do a poster search for Peach on FR. Peach has a lot of info on Dr. Hammesfahr. Look, I didn't ask to start an argument over Hammesfahr. But, I would still like some info from another doctor(s) which support his claims re: Schiavo.
Liberals claim that these issues, including abortion and right to die, etc., are a matter of privacy. Yet these same people want the taxpayers to fund these private things, like abortion and stem cell research. Great argument showing the hypocrisy of the other side.
I think we really have to reconsider these laws where the spouse decides who lives or dies. This could happen in many families.
Possibly we should protect people who need feeding tubes and can't speak for themselves. We are seeing that there is a huge difference between a dying person being let off the machines that breathe for them, and taking away a healthy disabled person's feeding and hydration. Should we allow feeding tubes to be removed, in nonterminal disabled people?
The Florida Board of Health and an administrative judge investigated his claims and found them credible.
"This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another....'"
(Zechariah 7:9)
Let His church continue to fervantly pray for mercy on us all.
Dr. H. was also a Nobel Prize nominee... here's the link. http://www.emediawire.com/releases/2004/6/emw136836.htm
Is he the doctor who was on Scarborough last night ..??
The doctor who was on with Joe totally stunned Joe to the point that he was almost yelling at the guy.
But .. I'm glad to hear that this nurse's affidavit is getting out in the news.
This woman's plight really makes me heartbroken. If her parents want to care for her, why doesn't the husband just leave them alone?
Nothing is stronger than the bond between parents and their children. Marriage does not even come close.
Liberals almost uniformly cheer on the murder of Terri Schiavo because it has direct bearing on that most cherished of liberals ideals, abortion on demand. The central ethical question in the abortion issue is the right of one person, for reasons only their own and with no regard for the wishes of the victim, to decide if another person lives or dies. That is also the issue at stake with Terri Schiavo. No matter how much you dress it up with flowery rhetoric about "choice" or "the right to die" or "states rights" or "the authority of Congress", the central issue always comes down to this. That is why we see liberals clamoring for Terri's death. If she lives, if we , as a society, choose life over death, where does that leave their almighty God of Abortion?
I don't have to search, I've read the documents myself. It is a smear campaign.
