I agree.. We need a constitutional amendment that prohibits lawyers from serving in any higher office.

I agree,,,and citizen grand-juries should run the courtroom; adult voters with no criminal records and preferably veterans.

There was an amendment which was originally numbered the 13th which would have done just that. I disappeared from the ratification process about the time of the Civil War. The number was then re-used.
