Five East St. Louis Democrats Indicted in Alleged Vote-Buying Scheme

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (AP) - Five East St. Louis Democrats were charged in a scheme to buy votes in November's election in a federal indictment unsealed Wednesday. An undetermined number of voters were paid $5 or $10 to cast a Democratic ballot in the Nov. 2 election, court records said. The money allegedly came from the St. Clair County Democratic Committee, though there was no indication the county committee knew how the funds would be used.

Federal prosecutors charged four Democratic committeemen and one precinct worker, a day after three other committeemen and a precinct worker pleaded guilty to related vote-buying charges in federal court.

U.S. Attorney Ronald Tenpas said the allegations do not address whether the scheme affected the outcome of any election. The investigation was continuing.

East St. Louis city manager Alvin Parks, a member of the Democratic committee, said he had been at meetings that included discussions about election strategy and money. "It did not involve paying people to vote," he said. Parks has not been charged.

Dims are still trying to steal elections the old fashioned way. They should get with the times and learn how to hack the voting machines like we do. (Should I have said that? This is a secure forum isn't it?)

And DU wonders why the Democrats didn't pursue election fraud. It is because so far the only documented election fraud cases are by Democrats!

The worst thing in the world that could happen to the Democrat party is a real investigation into voter fraud. And they know it.

Five East St. Louis Democrats have bright political futures for themselves as soon as they complete this resume enhancement.

Not necessarily - it's just that the bigger fish aren't paying attention and don't audit these people properly and hold them accountable.

We've long known St. Louis Missouri democrats inhabited a hotbed of voter fraud, makes sense that state lines wouldn't deter them.

And explains why the democrats rally cry is "let every vote count".

"They should get with the times and learn how to hack the voting machines like we do."

This would require that they get off their welfare state @ss and join the ownership society, go to school, learn something besides PE and make a contribution to society instead of leeching off the good work of others.

That will happen right after all the dead voters in Chicago go GOP!

St Louis, where in 2000 two voters filed complaints with the court that they were having trouble voting because of long lines, and thus the polls needed to be kept open.

After the court agreed and extended the polling hours it was learned why the two men were having trouble voting.

One was not registered to vote.

The other WAS DEAD!
