Terri is NOT in PVS (March-23-05 Affidavit of William Cheshire, Jr., MD)
hospicepatients.org ^ | 3-23-05

Posted on 03/24/2005 12:36:38 AM PST by cpforlife.org

From my friend in Clearwater Florida:

This doctor just examined Terri yesterday - keep in mind this is WHILE she is being starved and dehydrated and is the LEAST responsive she has ever been as death approaches. This doctor admits he assumed she was PVS...until he saw her and examined the records. The federal courts need to do the same! In Christ's love, Debi

"As I looked at Terri, and she gazed directly back at me, I asked myself whether, if I were her attending physician, I could in good conscience withdraw her feeding and hydration. No, I could not. I could not withdraw life support if I were asked. I could not withhold life-sustaining nutrition and hydration from this beautiful lady whose face brightens in the presence of others." - William Cheshire, Jr., MD 3/23/2005

The link below is a PDF. The document is a bit fuzzy - directly scanned from a paper copy into the computer.

Will this effect a change, though? I hope so, but if it is up to the judicial system, they are in Michael's court, not hers!

Haven't a clue. All I want is for everyone to be on their knees. That IS the most powerful tool we have.

The courts are so addicted to process that Terri could get up and dance a jig, and they'd still rule the same.

It's so obvious to us that Terri is not PVS.

But we also have Dr. Cheshire Jr., of the Mayo Clinic and Dr. William Hammesfahr, M.D., Nobel Prize Nominee who spent a tremendous amount of time with Terri; See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1367570/posts. Both have their reputations at stake and they boldly stated that Terri is NOT PVS.

Also there are DOZENS of other doctors who agree. The entire "PVS case" used to MURDER Terri is based upon:

"Of the 4 doctors selected to be the court’s medical authorities, three were hand-picked by Michael Schiavo and one was selected by Judge Greer.

Dr. Peter Bambakidis, appointed by Greer, has questionable affiliations with Michael Schiavo’s lawyer George Felos.

Dr. Melvin Greer insists that a doctor need not examine a patient to know the appropriate medical treatment.

Dr. Victor Gambone has stated that he has been startled by Terri Schiavo’s awareness.

Dr. Ronald Cranford, is on the board of the Euthanasia Society of America, has ties to the Hemlock Society and even advocates denial of spoon-feeding for the disabled.

How else can you describe it?

We're watching a murder unfold in front of our very eyes, on the national stage, and in slow motion.

Do you think Judge Greer will allow his decisions to be mocked?

"The law of this case is that she will die….I don’t want anyone trying to feed that girl" - Judge Greer
