Okay, has he signed or is he in negotiations for a book deal?

Does he have booked or planned speaking engagements in the present or future?

Is he negotiating a tv or movie deal?

This article is borderline slander. I am not a big fan of the guy either, but come on!

I heard it was $300K. The article was general in saying:

"Schiavo who stands to gain hundreds of thousands from a life insurance policy on her death has said that she should be allowed to die."

Great post.

A real writer wouldn't take 10 million dollars to write this story. But there are so many hacks out there and a lot who agree with the Right to Death crowd who will do the job for $50K. Sick.

Felos and MS--The devil and his master.
These guys are slicker than Owl sh...t
They have refused to give an accounting of the estate(as mandated by law) before judge "Greer" but somehow that's o.k.
And when the FDLE goes to investigate that and much more the investigation is halted by the local asst. state attorney for Pinellas County bernie McCabe who is also in cahoots with Judge Death.

The whole thing stinks.

Suggest urgent request to Isreal for Dual citizenship for Terri. Ask Isreal to intervene - send plane to pick up Terri. Iceland just granted Fischer citizenship and he was freed from Jail in Japan. This would be a great play for Isreal as it would lock in Conservative Christian base support for Isreal. Then World Court could intervene - there would be no U.S. Jurisdiction any longer. I don't know if you are related to the famous Schindler of WWII who saved the Jews - but this might help sway Isreal. Have the Vatican help with the arrangement. God Bless.

Here is the Isreali consulate in Miami's web site -

In the beginning of this I got to the part of the original poster no knowing if it is true. I stopped reading right there.
If you do not know that it is true, than it is GOSIP!!!!!
Gossip should never be posted in any way. No matter how you qualify it you are leading people to believe it as fact.
Please post provable historical facts. Make sure you can substantiate your hypothesis.
The socialist democrats are great at publishing B S and wanting the world to believe it's true.
Are you now playing from their play book?

I've often wondered about his shackup.
What kind of woman would stay with this kind of man? I wonder if she fears being in Terri's place.
Probably thinks she's safe because Michael couldn't do it twice.
WAY too ovbvious.

I wonder if the 'common-law-shack-up' has her own story to tell and will tell it somewhere down the line.

From all the stories, MS sounds like a mean, overbearing SOB. Is he this way at home with his family? I'd love to be a fly on the wall.

But most of all, I hope there will be a civil suit brought by the Shindlers. I want the WHOLE sorry story to be brought before the public, and everything exposed for all to hear -----from the beginning ---- and MS made to try to defend himself. AND ------to have those two creeps, Felos and Greer, and their positions, exposed.

Lastly --- someone, or all, cuffed.

I did hear that on the night of the "accident" when the medics arrived for Terri, the medics were shocked that police weren't called. I didn't get a chance to hear why but maybe somebody out there can tell us.

Here is a little more information that indicates that there is a big misconception about how this all originated.
This has become a political fight that has strayed far from truth and fact.
http://abstractappeal.com/schiavo/infopage.html

Why did Terri’s husband get to make the decision about whether she should live or die?

Michael Schiavo did not make the decision to discontinue life-prolonging measures for Terri.

As Terri's husband, Michael has been her guardian and her surrogate decision-maker. By 1998, though -- eight years after the trauma that produced Terri's situation -- Michael and Terri's parents disagreed over the proper course for her.

Rather than make the decision himself, Michael followed a procedure permitted by Florida courts by which a surrogate such as Michael can petition a court, asking the court to act as the ward's surrogate and determine what the ward would decide to do. Michael did this, and based on statements Terri made to him and others, he took the position that Terri would not wish to continue life-prolonging measures. The Schindlers took the position that Terri would continue life-prolonging measures. Under this procedure, the trial court becomes the surrogate decision-maker, and that is what happened in this case.

The trial court in this case held a trial on the dispute. Both sides were given opportunities to present their views and the evidence supporting those views. Afterwords, the trial court determined that, even applying the "clear and convincing evidence" standard -- the highest burden of proof used in civil cases -- the evidence showed that Terri would not wish to continue life-prolonging measures.

Is Michael really just looking for money?

I have no way to know. I know what the Schindlers say to reporters, but then I know that the Second District's first decision in the case used these words to describe Michael's care for Terri:

Theresa has been blessed with loving parents and a loving husband. Many patients in this condition would have been abandoned by friends and family within the first year. Michael has continued to care for her and to visit her all these years. He has never divorced her. He has become a professional respiratory therapist and works in a nearby hospital. As a guardian, he has always attempted to provide optimum treatment for his wife. He has been a diligent watch guard of Theresa's care, never hesitating to annoy the nursing staff in order to assure that she receives the proper treatment.

Recently, Michael received an offer of $1 million, and perhaps a second offer of $10 million, to walk away from this case and permit Terri's parents to care for her. These offers, assuming there were two, were based on a misunderstanding of the situation here. Michael lacks the power to undo the court order determining Terri's wishes and requiring the removal of her feeding tube. He did not make the decision and cannot unmake it. The court made the decision on Terri's behalf. Nonetheless, Michael apparently rejected each offer.

OOPS! Sorry 'bout the double post!

But it only reinforces my feelings. I want everything and everyone exposed ---- and have it such a big expose, that the MSM will have to report it!

Ok, you're right. We should believe the speculation of strangers on an internet website instead. They are far more credible.

"This article is borderline slander. I am not a big fan of the guy either, but come on!"

Nonsense. No slander in it. I merely report what a sensible range of fees will be if and when book, movie, and speaking deals are struck. I do not say that he has such deals, but I do say that such offers are inevitable. That's just the way the publishing / media world works.

I've been involved in selling various properties for many millions of dollars. I know what I'm talking about here.

Whether Michael Schiavo will accept offers is unknown. What is known is that there will be, and probably already have been, offers made.

Speculation may be right or may be wrong, whether it is by strangers on the Internet or anyone else. Since Michael Schiavo, at least one of this brother, and Scott Peterson have lied so blatantly, I don't find them credible.

I was wrong when I speculated that Jeb Bush or someone in power would save Terri from this barbaric death sentence. No one has.

There will be plenty of books written on this:

1. MS will write a book.

2. Felos will write a book.

3. Greer will retire and write his memoirs.

4. The Shindlers will write a book.

5. There will be another 2-3 books by independent authors promising to tell the "real Story".

The only per not writing a book will be Terri.

But only the Schindlers will not need expensive body guards, food tasters etc. I would not want to be this unholy group always having to look over your shoulder. The Schindlers already have plenty of witnesses, documentation, etc to sue the crap out of all of them. In discovery it will all be brought out,and there won't be a blind as a bat women hating Greer to oversee the case.
