It is the political structure and governmental interference that make all the difference. Get Government out of people’s lives and they will succeed. To believe people cannot succeed without government ‘help’ is to subscribe to what President Bush calls, ‘the soft bigotry of low expectations’. The reason they aren’t succeeding is BECAUSE of the government help, which only serves to subsidize poverty and single motherhood! For some reason, saying these things and passing bills that help millions of people out of poverty is said by the left to be ‘cruel’, ‘hardnosed’ and ‘racist’. I just wonder how many otherwise legitimate causes are absolutely ruined by protesting way over the top for entirely too long, AND THEN letting people like Wendell Terry and Jesse Jackson be seen amongst your "support group" so to speak...

In every encounter a "sale" is made, either one way or the other. It is seldom wise to talk beyond the sale and it is expecially hurtful to the cause to bring in these "personalities," or "celebrities!"

The world's best political opportunists will show up about now, however, they may have unintended consequences.

If enough congresscritters pile on, they may force the testimony in front of congress of the medical personnel involved, and the subpoena of ALL THE COURT AND HOSPITAL RECORDS. Greer and his deathocrats will try to withhold, but will fail just as long as they keep Sandy Burger out of the courthouse.

The publicity will expose Greer and seriously set back the deathocrat agenda.
