I saw Ward Churchill the other day on an obscure cable-access TV channel. The guy is a blathering fool. I tried watching for a few minutes and it was unlistenable. the campus announced last week that Churchill can't be disciplined for his opinions but that the campus would conduct a formal investigation of charges of "research misconduct" including plagiarism and fabrication and of misrepresenting himself as a Native American..

Don't look for this to be resolved anytime soon. A member of CU's Board of Regeants said this process could take 2 1/2 years to complete.
