Yes. Changed the attributes on the registry key and deleted it. It was buried way deep. I found it with a hijackthis trace.

That's not that much trouble. I burned my important files (my My Documents folder and my saved games) to a CD, formatted C, reinstalled Windows, and let Windows Update do the rest.

Reinstalling my apps takes maybe 10 minutes.
