This is a prayer thread for Terri Schiavo. Please let it remain a peaceful place and not an arena for arguments. God has released her from her earthly bonds. She is at His side. Please express blessings and sentiments of sympathy for her family, and wishes for Terri's peace in heaven.

This breaks my heart. America has lost its soul.
Rest In Peace Terri. May your sacrifice not be made in vain.

she's in a better place now. she can breathe freely, laugh, run and feel the joys of being alive and in peace with the Lord.
May GOd have mercy upon all those people involved, and bless those who loved Terri.
May Terri now find peace with the Heavenly Father as he stretches out his arms to her.
God be with her family and friends that have been with her in her battle.

I also feel a sense of relief that her suffering is over..
It's too bad it had to come to this.
Let's hope that her life and death will result in something positive, a new awareness of life, it's value and meaning..
Let her struggle and final passing be a moral turning point for this nation and the world..
It is how we treat those who cannot defend themselves that defines who and what we are as a people.
GOD bless you Terri. I hope you are soaring in heaven. Your life meant something when you were abled. Your life meant something when you were disabled.

My prayers go up for you Terri. You will not be forgotten. Rest peacefully with God.
They said she couldn't speak, but she spoke to us all; Some simply refused to listen. They said she wanted to die, but she clung to life with all the tenacity she could muster.
She now stands before the only Judge that really matters. I have faith she will find mercy and compassion she was not availed on earth.
Terri, may the Lord bless and keep you within his loving arms. In my heart of hearts, I can only hope that you are looking down upon us and saying "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!" Militant

We have prayed for Theresa Marie to be covered with Your wings of love and protection during this tragedy. I will continue to pray for comfort and blessings for Terri's family, friends and supporters. Terri is with the greatest Guardian of them all now.
When I care for my patients, I will be remembering Terri. Defend the helpless. Fight for justice.
All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

I share everyone's sentiments, but wanted to make a comment on this radio host, Michael Savage. I heard him for the first time about two weeks ago. He was singing the praises of George Bush for flying to DC to sign the bill asking for a federal court review of judge Greer's decision, (a Clinton appointee?)
The last few nights he has changed his tune and has been lambasting the Bush Boys for "doing nothing." I think these are dangerous statements that will undermine any positive that may come out of this terrible tragedy--namely a hard boiled look at our court system.
We do not live in a monarchy, Mr. SAvage. We have a govt with three branches. The least powerful used to be the judicial. We now realize that it is the most powerful maybe next to talk show host bullies like you.
The parents were willing to bear the burden of her care plain and simple. They filed to obtain guardianship when they believed the husband had a conflict of interest and was not speaking for what was in the best interest of their daughter.
The husband's custody or right to speak for his wife should have ended at the very least, when he had the first child with his common law wife and when there was a clear conflict of interest.
Greer was convinced that TErri had clearly expressed her desire not to be on life support of any kind.
But this post is more about this guy SAvage and his new bandwagon which is to undermine our President. I find him offensive and boorish. People call in and he cuts them off.
I mean hangs up on them. He's as bad as we say the far left Michael Moore's are.
I'm conservative republican and believe with most of what SAvage was saying a couple weeks ago, but I am extremely upset with the what he is saying about our president now.
Allot of people from both sides of the aisle agreed that what happened in Florida was wrong.
Bush is not our King, and cannot act like one. If this case makes us look long and hard at the abusive power of our court system and results in fixing it, then Terri did not die in vain but for all of us.
