Socks has been sent to live with Betty Currie.....another paragon of integrity. Followed the grifters from Little Rock.

I haven't seen them use the word "drafts".

What I've read so far makes it sound like no harm was done because the Archives still has "copies" of the memo. That ignores the fact that he destroyed unique versions with unique notes and markings.

And I agree with the person above who compared this to the Martha Stewart case. Why did she do time for lying to investigators but Berger gets off with a fine and "admitting mistakes"?

Here are the questions reporters should ask:

"Which recipients' versions were destroyed? Whose versions were returned to the Archives?"

"Was there anything to distinguish one version from the others? Do we know?"

"Of the two versions he did return, are there any markings that distinguish one from the other?"

Socks was there, allowing slick willie to deny he was ever 'alone' with Monica.

He has destroyed documents with handwritten notes in the margins.

Once again jeopardising national security, as he did during his tenure at National Security Advisor.

I am trying to figure out whether to leave America. It is not the place I was born. It is not the place I now want. I see no way of changing it back... I just don't know where else to go!

Is there any concrete action that can be taken against the BUSH Justice Department? What do we get besides a grin and cowboy boots? More illegal aliens and no justice, click it or ticket, and WO (some)D...

Sandy Berger should be lined up with Clintoons and their accomplices, and hung from the White House Veranda... They are all traitors, and our Prez 43 is aiding and abetting...

That's just my opinion...

I agree with your assessment to a certain degree, but this was going on with congress before Bush showed up. Remember the Waco hearings? I thought the Republicans had covered up for the sake of the reputation of the American government.

Remember this crap was done during the 9-11 hearings, while a top member of the Clinton Justice Department sat on the council judging the Bush admin. Not only was she a member but the one who put "the wall" in place. The fact the Pubs didn't have her thrown off the council and subpoenaed is suspicious to say the least.

Andrea Mitchell was on Imus earlier. Imus asked her what she thought of this story. She said the Burglar was a great guy and will cop to a misdemeanor and serve no jail time and move on. She didn't think it was a big deal at all. Unbelievable! If this had been a Republican we would have public hearings broadcast on c-span, pmsnbc and cnn 24/7.

...but the pattern continues under Bush!

I wonder where Craig Livingstone spends his money... or did he find Fort Marcy Park?

Here is another case of a Clintoon operative falling on his sword for the Clinton's. I just can't understand what causes lemmings to run to their death. Amen.
Look how many have either been killed or sent to jail for those two deceitful and ungrateful losers.

Yes the pattern continues, but Bush has earned some benefit of a doubt. It seems wants Clinton to have some dignity for some strange reason. I like to think its because he respects the office of the Presidency.

I am not ready to start ripping Bush.

If I have done that while serving I would have been in jail for 40 years. Democrats can get away with anything and no one cares.

....Democrats can get away with anything and no one cares.

But they do care. At least the ones that have given us a two term Bush White House and a majority in the Senate and House. Look at the states! More and more legislatures have become Republican majorities.
