May I suggest that each state bring a sign with the name of the state? I made them for NY, NJ, and PA. The flags don't always tell you what you want to know, if there is a flag. This will help people find their state and also give more of a clue to those watching.

The parking garage directly behind Union Station charges $14 for all day parking.

Does this one usually fill up early, Kristinn? We'll be driving in early Thursday AM from west central PA, and this might be the best option for us.

You should be okay. The parking lot serves the shopping center and movie theaters at Union Station, as well as train passengers.

Union Station has a great food court where you can get sandwiches, snacks, coffee and sodas before the rally.

Please note: We did not order porta-potties for the rally. Restroom facilities are located at Union Station (make a pit stop if you arrive for the rally there) and inside the Russell Senate Office Building located right next to Upper Senate Park.

I believe your kids would be fine at the rally. The long drive, however....

I have a little guy we lovingly call the "Wreckapotamus".... He is not ok anywhere...He likes to run, at tops speeds and he is very good at it!

I try warning folks, *they think I am exaggerating....until they have to be in an open space with him...( he is almost three)

I would make the drive in a heartbeat, the older guy (6) would love it... the younger one...No way.

I really hope everyone who can go will go.

Besides y'all are wayyy more fun then sitting home and yelling at the TV about these judges.

I would like to encourage everyone to get up off their "booties" and make yourself heard. Get some new music CDs and some books on tape and go check out the Apple blossoms in DC... what could be more fun?

"Instead of meeting at the previously discussed restaurant (near our closely-held evening event per earlier FReepmails) at 5:30 or 6 for dinner, BufordP and I will join those FReepers from the March for Justice for dinner at the Cap City Brewing Company between 4 and 5 per Kristinn's post above."

If you and BufordP are gonna be there, I'm there...MUD
