Thanks,

It is just those of us who are healthy can't imagine life can be good if we lose mobility or get disabled. However that perspective changes when a person is in that condition. As a species we are designed to survive. That instinct is very strong. I can understand the disabled feeling that the Schiavo case can have fatal consequences for them. Especially by all those people that thought it was better for Terri to die.

Aside from the important value we should place on any life, I simply could not trust Mr. Schiavo to be honest regarding his wife, and no matter what she had said to him during a flippant conversation, without a will. I think we should have relied on her parents to make the final decision.
