The sad thing is that Iranians escaping the regime find it easier to get refugee status in Canada than nearly any other country.
Europe doesn't want them and it is nearly impossible to get refugee status in the US unless they get here illegally.
Plus the regime has made it harder by sending its agents out as refugees. Western intelligence services understand this and thus our governments are very skeptical.
But the sad thing is that people on the run from the regime find in nearly impossible to get the help they need.
