Cannot post this bizarre story because it's from Gannet. But it's about DU and their fantastical conspiracy theory that Jeff Gannon is actually Johnny Gosch, an Iowa paperboy who was kidnapped in 1982. If you thought their take on the tsunami was wacky, get a load of this.
There is a 10 year age difference. It's already been discounted I believe.

I thought Gannon was President Bush's illegitimate son; the product of a love fling the President had with a blow-up doll back during one of his drunken rages and blackout periods.

Your first post was about a subject which the DU has been unhealthily transfixed with for months. Your post seems to lend creedance to their point of view. Their point of view also is that Guckert proves the President is a fool. (Holy leap of logic, Batman.)
So, when you ask me why, that's my answer. Odd that you would chose this subject, with this much detail, to make your first ever post on FR.
As for why I didn't go after the poster...sometimes articles are posted to show the lunacy of the extreme left. Since I live in Iowa and read the article first thing this morning, I was familiar with it and almost linked to it myself. I got busy.
