SEMTEX SEIZED IN NORTHERN FRANCE WAS FROM BOSNIA: JUSTICE OFFICIALS
The Tocqueville Connection ^ | April 4, 2005

Posted on 04/05/2005 4:56:49 PM PDT by joan

PARIS, April 4 (AFP) - A haul of some 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of Semtex explosives seized at the weekend by French police in the northern town of Hazebrouck came from Bosnia and was destined for the criminal underground, justice officials said Monday.

Five people were detained after the Czech-made explosives, along with a stock of detonators, were found on Saturday concealed in a lorry containing metal parts bound for a company in the area.

Three were arrested at the scene and two others -- the suspected purchasers of the Semtex -- were detained later in Paris. The ring-leader was a former Bosnian soldier, Le Parisien newspaper reported.

The seizure was ordered by a Paris magistrate as part of an investigation opened last month into organised crime. According to sources close to the enquiry, the explosives were due to be delivered to Paris, but the judge decided to take preemptive action.

The explosives may have come from Bosnian army stocks, justice officials said. They were brought by road to France via Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and Belgium.

Police have long expressed concern that supplies of arms and explosives reaching criminal gangs in France are being supplied from the former Yugoslavia.

A kilogram of Semtex can fetch up to 4,000 euros (5,150 dollars) on the black market, Le Parisien said. Investigators believe Saturday's haul was to be divided up and sold off in bits.

The ring-leader was a former Bosnian soldier, Le Parisien newspaper reported.

And he would be a Muslim (Bosniak) of course. If he were a Serb they would say so and give his name, but for the Bosnian Muslims and Albanians they often won't name them and let them off with a slap on the wrist.

The "Bosnian army" were mostly Muslims. If he were a Serb, they'd say he was part of the Bosnian Serb army.

>>>>>>Don't automatically think that it was Bosnian Muslims working with French muslims. It could just as easily have been French gangsters in the army working with the Serb terrorists they protected during and after the war.<<<<<<

Two companies under Bosnian Muslim control have manufactured explosives - BNT and VITEZIT (Vitez). They have been already caught in ilicit arms trade with Iraq and elsewhere.

You are indeed Great. Great Bigot.

The only terrorists in Bosnia were Bosnian Muslims who kickstarted the civil war with the murder of groom's father Nikola Gardovic in wedding ceremony in Sarajevo, March 1 1992.

This murder was a terrorist act, as per DOS definition Mark provided a while ago.

( Quote: ...the definition of terrorism contained in Title 22 of the United States Code, Section 2656f(d). That statute contains the following definitions:

The term "terrorism" means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant (1) targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.)

The perps have not been punished, Ramiz Delalic Celo was promoted within Bosnian Muslim hierarchy.

This terrorist act pushed the volatile situation into the Bosnia civil war.

There are no Serb terrorists in Bosnia. Princip has died in 1918.

Princess Leia would say:

"I don't know who you are or where you've come from, but from now on you'll do as I say, okay?"

For starters, repaeat after me: There are still Islamic terrorists in Bosnia (e.g. Lukovo Polje) as well as Bosnian terrorists in Gitmo. Mohammed Atta trained in Bosnia in 1999. His lieutenants also. AQ Bosnian cell was involved in 911 and Madrid terror attack.

Racist attitude towards the Serbs is one thing. Openly supporting Islamic terrorists is antother.

The involvement of those Bosnian firms in breaking the arms embargo of Iraq was actually highlighted by a PBS show (can't remember which one) way back in 2002. I remember they interviewed some supposedly responsible Bosnian government guy and he essentially responded with something like "oh, that's terrible, we'll have to do something about that" - yah, right!

The sniping came from territory controlled by the Muslim Green Berets, and the leader at the time, Jusuf Prazina did it. He became really popular, got on the bad side of Alija Izetbegovic, then fought for the Bosnian Croats against the Muslims. He fled Bosnia, but was assassinated at the end of 1993 in Belgium by Izetbegovic's son:

For some of you who don`t watch CNN ,something about Sarajevo:Sarajevo is a Big Little Town!Meaning that it is a town in which everyone knows everyone, and Sarajevans know exactly what was and did happen.I have heard from at least ten people from Sarajevo (Muslims Croats and Serbs) that Yuka has done it.And,as a typical Sarayevan,he was bragging about it afterwards.Yuka Prazina was a small local hudlum, very insignificant before the war.A pick pocket, and burglar. With a limp.No one liked him or respected him.He gained "glory" on the back of Izetbegovich`s authority, but, soon, had to fled Sarajevo and join Croatian Army in Mostar, where he fought against the Muslims. At the end of the war,Bosnia was not safe for him so he had to escape to Europe. He got involved in drugs and stollen cars.Finaly,he was assasinated in Belgium on the orders of Izetbegovich`s son.

It is true that Yuka Prazina was behaving like "kabadahia"(Bosnian-Turkish word for a bully or a thug) since he became a "Green Beret".Imagine a Bosnian version of Liberty Wallance and you`ve got a picture. He did shoot some of the staff of the University Clinic and I have heard a first hand story from two brothers, ortopedic surgeons from Sarajevo, currently living in Acton,London!Bosnian press was strictly controled by Izetbegovich and his hanchman,Ejup Ganich, and no dissent was tolerated. So,they would ignore the murder, easily, because,no one wanted to be killed by a "Serbian sniper" or a "shrapnel" ,if you know what I mean. The fact that one is far out of range of Serbian snipers is irrelevant.

There are several items which they should have known from the arrests...but didn't tell. The bottom line is that criminal interests in the Bosnia region (including Crotia, Yugo, etc)...are all reverting to their old small Mafia arts. If they aren't fighting wars against each other...then they are working illegal or criminal affairs to bankroll their house and relatives.

This Jusuf Prazina had a concentration camp for Serbs in Sarajevo [have Serb and non-Serb sources for this], and later when he went to Mostar to fight with the Croats, he and his men reportedly killed 700 Muslims.

In the "Viktor Bubanj" facility in Sarajevo many were murdered and otherwise abused. It had the distinction of being staffed with 20 mujahadeen guards (foreign Muslims).

As head of the BiH Army's paramilitary units, Juka became the warden of a prison camp set up in the Viktor Bubanj army barracks. The detention facility became known as «Viktor Bubanj», but was also called «Juka's Prison». Over 200 prisoners were held there and subjected to torture, hunger, and hard labour. The camp commander allegedly committed many criminal acts, including rape and murder. *119

This is what he did to his own kin "Bosniaks" in Mostar:

Juka and his men reportedly conducted ethnic cleansing operations in Mostar after joining forces with the HVO. Juka's forces evicted, imprisoned, physically abused, and killed many civilians. The London Times reported in May 1993, that Juka and his men drove out every Muslim civilian living in Mostar on the west bank of the Neretva river to «deny vantage points to snipers». *121 Homes were looted and men were beaten up and arrested. *122 Witnesses stated that sometime before 15 July 1993, Juka's forces allegedly evicted the wealthy Muslim residents of Mostar from their apartments, which were then looted and turned over to members of the HVO paramilitary formations. According to reports, Juka's forces were masked and heavily armed when they surrounded the apartments. They then blocked exits, fired their weapons in the air, and demanded that all Muslim residents evacuate the building. *123 Witnesses stated that Juka and his men killed as many as 700 people in and around Mostar and that they ran detention facilities for Muslim civilians at the heliport outside the city. *124

The French bombed Serbs during the Kosovo war, and didn't they fly some bombing missions against the Bosnian Serbs too?

The French are just sneaky. During the March 2004 pogroms against the Kosovo Serbs, many French who had been friendly with Serbs, decided not to do anything when the Albanians attacked. What kind of friends are the French? They betray everyone.

WRONG, ergo! The French bombed the Serbs...wasn't that two French Mirage fighter jet pilots downed by the B-Serbs and held captive by them as well? What an idiot you are!

FRANCE DENIES DEAL OVER BOSNIAN SERB WAR CRIMINAL Former Yugoslav President Zoran Lilic said at the war crimes trial of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic in The Hague on 9 July that French President Jacques Chirac in 1995 offered immunity from extradition to the tribunal for Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladic in return for the freeing of an unspecified number of French pilots captured by Serbian forces in Bosnia, RFE/RL's South Slavic and Albanian Languages Service reported. Lilic added that he and Milosevic called Mladic a "cretin" in their talks with General Momcilo Perisic in 1995 about the Bosnian Serb commander. In Paris, Chirac's office said in a statement later on 9 July that the French pilots were freed in Bosnia during the conflict without any deal between Paris and the Serbs. PM

Han Solo would say: Wonderful girl. Either I'm going to kill her or I'm beginning to like her.

Can you guess on whose side Jedi knights would be in our little dispute over the events in the Balkans?.

A hint: For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times, before the Empire.

Don't underestimate the force, it's trembling is telling you something.

WOW!! What a lively discussion.WHOA.

I ran thru it quickly.

I wonder why the Saudis extremists are so hot to take over Bosnia? Foothold in Europe, as a base of further operations in terrorism??

Seems like they could just as easily use Kosovo or Albania. Well, maybe they want all of them. Seems like most muslims are odd and dangerous folks.

t's just that the very nominal Muslims in Bosnia...didn't want to live under the sort of people who wanted to make political enemies "disappear" into the night and fog, so they declared independence.

And to enforce their independence, they made many disappear into the night and fog just as they had done in WWII.

Only this time, they actually had Americans playing the roles of useful idiots for their Jihad. Case in point: Ronly Bonly bin Laden!
