This is very disturbing.

I'm hoping that he was a freelancer that sometimes shared his film with CBS, but I know that it does not look too good for CBS.

CNN already admitted to being a propaganda arm of the Saddam Hussein regime, because the Iraqi dictator only allowed favorable coverage. {CNN is the only American network with a permanent bureau in Havana; you draw your own conclusions}

The media's liberal ideological, psychological warfare against the U.S. is hard for many people to grasp in atheoretical sense, yet people can easily identify and relate to something more concrete.

If the reporter picked up a gun and became an enemy combatant under the ROE, the soldiers were justified at shooting him, and not just by "accident" either.

Remember it was Mike Wallace of CBS that said he wouldn't warn US troops of an ambush if he knew about it since his job was to report the news.

How often does this happen that we don't hear about? Very very often, I'm afraid. Many of those handy videos of terrorist attacks that surface so quickly in the news media and on websites are shot by these semi-free-lance Arab cameramen who get hooked up with western media outfits.

This pattern was clear with the infamous case of the 10 or 12 year old Palestinian boy whose shooting sparked such endless outrage and helped launch the new "Intifadah" a few years ago -- it has since come out that the French news agency ignored all obvious doubts about the legitimacy of the video and whether it was even Israeli bullets that came anywhere near the boy -- some recent accounts indicate that the Palis were creating propaganda tapes and the French were only too happy to oblige. CBS and others have been complicit in the same kind of activities..... who here is surprised???

If this is true, CBS will be MUCH worse off then they are now. First Ra^ther trying to mess with the election, now an idiot camera man that some fool at CBS hired to work for the insurgents. These people really have some serious problems. I started boycotting them because of the memos, now I wish that I could double boycott them somehow.
