Heinz Kerry urges more action on pollution
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | 4/8/05 | GABRIELLE BANKS

Posted on 04/08/2005 6:28:29 PM PDT by bitt

Teresa Heinz Kerry this week challenged about 250 doctors and scientists to help Americans "connect the dots" between environmental pollution and rising cancer rates.

Her remarks in an opening address for a conference on health and the environment included a barbed reference to "the belligerent indifference of our leaders in Washington toward environmental health issues." She urged the group to continue studying the causes of drastically increased rates of breast and prostate cancers and childhood leukemia.

Heinz Kerry appeared calm and comfortable even though her speech at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Shadyside was interrupted several times and finally cut short because of problems with the TelePrompTer and the sound system.

As her speech progressed in fits and starts, Heinz Kerry demonstrated a knowledge of the impact of toxins on humans and marine life.

Bovine flatulence is responsible for so much ozone depletion, so why not start by shutting your trap?

"demostrated a knowledge of the impact of toxins on humans and marine life."

And the "reporter" knows this because?......

As WFB Jr. used to say, "why does baloney reject the grinder?" Maybe the prompter and sound system had just had enuff and up'n quit on 'er.

Heinz Kerry urges more action on pollution

1: Shut down the Heinz factories.

2: Get the Heinz-Kerry's to shut their traps.

I think the author was mocking Teresa with this statement. A speech proceeding "in fits and starts"? Sounds like the reporter was politely implying that Teresa was high or drunk. And the stuff about her demonstrating her knowledge sounds similar to what one would say about a chicken that can count.

IMO, T H Kerry is walking pollution herself. Can we take steps to solve this?

Because she talked about her marriage to Kerry and its effects on humans and marine life.

Why doesn't she get her Eurotrash friends to use deodorant. That would reduce toxic pollution.

Note, the name is incorrect.

She has returned to going by just Heinz since the election.

You must be right. The environment is so spat all over with the used raisins that from now on gin is to be drunk straight.

"Heinz Kerry urges more action on pollution"

Maybe if she sold 4 of her mansions, The Flying Squirrel, and the Scaramouch, she could have some impact on pollution.
I really wish someone at her "speech" would stand up and ask the gin soaked biatch about enviromental impact all her mansions, plane, and motor boats have caused.

They won't because they will say she is doing more for the environment by speaking to thousands about their behavior, and trying to change ALL behavior, than she is doing damage with her lifestyle.

It's the ultimate hypocrisy, like the anti-fur activist who performed at a PETA event in a leather jacket. When called on it she said "We're just talking about fur today."

Heinz is not a little people; people in her social plateau don't have to live by the philosophy she spouts, because that's for The Little People.

Teresa Heinz Kerry this week challenged about 250 doctors and scientists to help Americans "connect the dots" between environmental pollution and rising cancer rates.

Teresa, How about banning the use of private jets to jet between ones six or so estates with large mansions spread out all over the world?

Or, like Barbara Streisand's idea to hang your laundry out to dry, are your ideas only for the "little people"?

Because Teresa couldn't continue her speech without the teleprompter...

Er...wait, that would prove just the opposite, never mind.
