"The Texan who donated the $1500.00 wants you to know that this gift was given in the name of those FReepers who cannot donate for whatever the reason. Fellow Freepers who may feel guilty because you couldn't donate, You're covered. God Bless FR and all the FReepers."

I would like to thank that Texan that donated for me. With any luck I will be able to make a donation next time.

I am late getting here; had to work all day, BUT

Please let him/her know how much all of us appreciate his/her generous and unselfish contribution.

Sometimes I can (very modest amount) and sometimes I can't even do that, but according to some freepers, we are "dirt bags," "free loaders", and "deadbeats," when we can't.

It means so much to me personally that this FREEPER gave especially to cover our back AND she/he is a Texan. Would you please convey my sincere and heartfelt thanks.

And thank You, Jim.

Thanks for the explanation. It sounds as if each Freepathon needs to begin with the results of the last one, and for all I know, it does. Due to the ongoing addition of receipts up to the point where a new quarter begins the donations list is fluid as are the results.

Never knew how that worked, only looked like monthlies weren't counted. So the logical assumption might be, those states with heavy monthly contributors might end up being way above those with only freepathon contributions, but we wouldn't know until the end of the quarter, after all the receipts are in.

PS, Don't think I didn't notice the reference to Grampa Dave a story that may or may not need to be told, depending on Grampa Dave of course.

(Truth be known, I ain't a long tall Texan though. I'm short and ugly, old and missing teeth,I am known to wander around the ranch aimlessly mumbling to myself. I bump my head on the barn door a lot too. And I drool. All in all, not a very pretty sight.)

I don't believe that for a minute!

(Pssst! Your picture is on your home page.}

LOL! We hear the same old story every Freepathon about it "taking longer than usual" -- and it usually starts around Day 2.
