Day Seven
Thursday April 7, 2005
"...Just then, Jay comes over to get a dub of the Barton interview...he heads back to the RV, I head back to my room to edit the audio to send out to KFYI, the Clear Channel News Network and producers of various talk shows.....I end up having dinner with Jim Gilchrist at the chow hall...tonight it's spaghetti....as we sit and talk, someone brings him an envelope...inside, color pictures of the legal observers rolling their own, and smoking their own.....Just by looking at the pictures you can't tell if it's marijuana or tobacco....but, inside there's also a handwritten letter from an Arkansas couple who claim they took the pictures at one of the rallies last week in Naco and that they smelled marijuana coming from the three young legal observers...Jim hasn't decided what to do with the pictures and story.
Jay Lawrence stops by and looks at the pics...he starts laughing....Jim has to leave, he's headed out on a night patrol...Jay and I chat for a bit....he turns in early since he has to head out early tomorrow morning....I head back to the room and read a little before I go to bed...more stations to service first thing in the morning.....Have a good night!!!!

PING
The A.C.L.U. needs to get A. C.L.U.E.
..Or a water pipe.
I remember back when the only thing that came into the US from Mexico was weed (and tequila), and a five finger bag of it was $25. Damn. (Of course you got an extra bonus with it - SEEDS.) I guess there were some 'good old days'...
Man, you got ripped off! It used to be $10 for a five finger bag of seeds and stems. ;^)
Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think these guys are there as observers at all- they're probably always hanging around, waiting for their dealer to come across with a bud or two, then a minuteman shows up and...
Now I know why the libertarians identify with them :)
No kidding! I put up a post embarassing to the ACLU and every
doper still up appears.
They remain in their offices or on the golf links while their designees (office help, lawyer wannabees, radicals students playing hooky, and the local drifters and habitues from the local marijuana parks do the grunt work.
Remember, Hillary never jointed the leftist campus rabble burning down the administration buildings in the 60's. She was directing and encouraging many of them, but remained inside her dorm studying law and keeping her resume and unpainted toenails clean.
Top echelon leftist leaders seldom mix with their enablers who populate the unwashed masses.

Sure, but the ACLU has volunteers on the ground there.
I've seen photos of these "ACLU volunteers" following the Minutemen around the dusty sagebrush. They look exactly like the placard-carrying mopes and scrags we see across the street from us during our street freeps.

OK
bump
Those ACLU people give cannibus users a bad name.
Thanks, do you have a link or source to the news conference statement that the ACLU people were the ones who were setting off the sensors?
Hitlery even tried to join the Marines!;^}

Mexican mafia is supplying them with pot gratis.
I have photos and a sworn affidavit on their way to me concerning this situation.
A bunch of the boys were whooping it up in the Malamute saloon, bump!
(harrowup, you were added to the bump as FR's very own lifelong member of the anti-American, communist-front, subversive organization, the ACLU)

Hillary tried to join the Marines??? What happened???
Unofficial Summary of the Rush Limbaugh Show

o Hillary also(told)a group of female military veterans that she
tried to join the Marines in 1975, the same year she married Bill
Clinton. According to Hillary, the recruiter, who Hillary claimed
didn't look any older than 21 years old, rejected her, saying
that she was too old, wore glasses, and was a woman. He then
reportedly suggested that Hillary go to the Army because "maybe
the dogs might take you."
Jerry from Baltimore, who joined the military with a special
exemption after age 27, doubted Hillary's story, given that at
age 27, Hillary was a law professor, a field that the military
was willing to make exemptions for. Since the military was also
bending over backwards for women, he thought Hillary's story was
difficult to believe.
Other callers also expressed doubts about Hillary's story, such
as Maiti from Biloxi, MS, who was active duty military and about
to retire. She said there was no way a Marine recruiter, who
would have gone through all sorts of specialized training, would
tell Hillary what she claimed unless perhaps the recruiter were
goaded into doing it by the would-be recruit. Also, when Maiti
joined in 1977, the recruiters were falling all over themselves
to get her to sign up.
Thanks, but our age group is way past the whooping stage even if we could understand the government's unwarranted invasion of privacy of those who do enjoy a toke or two. Odd thing about generations is that when I used to demonstrate there was a dress and behavior code and my kind just doesn't fit well with the new crowd. Old fogeys you know.
That said, here is a little gift from your friendly aclu...
Why would Ms. Rodham lie about such a thing?
By the way, wasn't she named after Sir Hillary?
snicker...snicker...snicker
Then theres the ACLU always ready to defend the trivial and stand in opposition of the truly important issues that cut to the heart of Americas survival. Must be something in the weed.
I Say: One toke over the line sweet Jesus. One toke over the line. Sittin down by the Minute Man Project. One toke over the line. Awaitin for the hit that goes home, sweet Mary. Hoping that the high is on time. Sittin down by the Minute Man Project. One toke over the line...
You take yourself way too seriously. I don't.
Awww. Ya done broke my heart with dat. You are so mean, you you you meanie!
She was told they already have a mascot.

Cpl. Smokin' Joe
And hey, his name fits this thread nicely.

Lol. Hope the pictures get wide circulation.
LOL, harrowup, look what Spiff posted just for you. Three photos that show the fruits of your 40 years of work with that communist front group, the ACLU. Three of the ACLU's finest (i.e., pot heads) think that the best way to stay razor sharp and stand ready for action to defend the Constitution, is to do it sitting on their butts stoned!

"I have belonged to the ACLU for over 40 years..." --harrowup "I am also a Democrat..." --harrowup "I love beating up on Republicans and Libertarians and especially conservatives." --harrowup
Sidebar: It is difficult to conceive of anything more outrageous than an unabashed admission by a freeper that he has been a life-long member and apologist for the Anti-American, communist-front group, the ACLU, and an unrepentant liberal member of the Democrat Party (the party of treason), and especially his confession that his mission is to be a troll and a disruptor. |
Acapulco Gold is a bad ass weed!
Apologies to Cheech and Chong.

The only boundary a dope smoker respects is the front door of his dealer.
The observers are working for the ACLU.
I've seen the picks and they have their ACLU observer shirts on
I wonder if they had read that recent study that marijuana use improves night vision...
He said that he has to have probable cause to arrest or search anyone. He said that in Arizona personal possession of or smoking marijuana is a misdemeanor only. He said that the police can only act upon a misdemeanor if it occurs in their presence. He said that because of the courts he can only search someone if he PERSONALLY has probable cause to do so based upon his own observations.
He said the pictures and the statements from the witnesses are not probable cause for him to search anyone since the police didn't witness anything.
I said that this should be reason enough for them to at least keep a closer eye on the ACLU "legal observers" for this kind of thing. He said that I could email the photos to him and he would look into it.
He's feeding you a line of PC BS.
Do you think so? I mean, if you really think that I'm getting jerked around I will call the Sheriff. He'll take my call as he knows who I am. The Sheriff already read the riot act to his deputies the other day for their mishandling of the incident where the grandmother got run off the road (right by my house) by violent human traffickers. If Tomlinson is jerking me around I think that the Sheriff needs to know about it.
They know with ACLU volunteers they will be up to their necks in lawyers if they arrest one.
They would deny that's an issue, but it is an issue.
