Remember, Clinton told that reporter of Air Force One that he had never expected to fly on AF1 again. I think he knows that Hillary has no chance of winning.

Good point, Jeff Gordon. Because it's always about him and not the subject at hand, Clinton eventually reveals his true thoughts.

I believe this latest development is not something the Hillary camp is happy about. She knows she can't trust her husband and he will always do something to upstage her, even if it means helping to destroy her presidential hopes. It's about him - not her - and she knows it. I've maintained for years that he does not want to stand behind her for four or eight years in the White House. It would do nothing for his legacy.

Good move, W, give him enough rope.

There is no other position in the world that old Bill can use to gain a crowd like he saw gathered for the Pope last week. Old Bill was green with envy about the size of that crowd.

This is not an appointment by President Bush. President Bush named Clinton, along with his dad, to lead American fundraising.

Kofi Annan appointed Clinton to the UN position, which is separate from what Clinton and Dad Bush were involved in doing.

Clinton is, of course, highly unsuitable for overseeing funds, but an agency that would appoint Angelina Jolie as a spokesperson is not going to appoint competent people.

Hopefully Clinton will demonstrate his incompetence and will tarnish his name further. At any rate, President Bush didn't nominate him to this position.
