Jerger-Centonze held fundraisers for Hospice Foundation (Terri Schiavo Mystery Expands)
Canada Free Press ^ | 11 April 2005 | Judi McLeod, Editor

Posted on 04/11/2005 12:38:15 PM PDT by shrinkermd

Even after her death, all roads in the life and times of Terri Schindler Schiavo lead back to the Attorney George Felos-extolled Woodside Hospice.

Listed under "fundraisers" on the website of Liberty American Insurance Group is "The Hospice Foundation".

The Jerger & Centonze Insurnance (sic) Agency Inc., an inactive company, owns the Liberty American Insurance Group.

The Jerger & Centonze Insurance Agency was established in January 2001 at the home of Michael Schiavo and girlfriend, Jody Centonze, identified as Schiavo’s fiancée for the first time in the obituary of his mother, Clara.

The principal mailing address of the company is listed as 2807 Marrie Court, Clearwater, Fla.

This address is listed as owned by Jodi A. Centonze in Pinellas County appraisers’ records.

Michael Schiavo is listed as a 2002 company director at the same Marrie Court address.

Richard M. Jerger Jr., listed on 2002 company papers as a director, is a stockholder in Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp., which sold 2,902 shares of stock in 2001 for $102,933.

Why would the Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp. buy Jerger & Centonze with a stock and cash deal valued at over $40 million?

Who in the insurance industry would want to truck with a corporation that misspelled its own name--a misspelling that in spite of its place in cyberspace no one moved to correct in three years?

Michael Schiavo does not own Liberty American Insurance Group, which is a very large corporation.

The article tends to have a short life here. I don't know why. May be the source Canada Free Press is banned.

No, but ...
"The Jerger & Centonze Insurnance (sic) Agency Inc., an inactive company, owns the Liberty American Insurance Group.",
sounds more like an agency that any license holder can open up.
The 'ownership" is, I'm sure, just a hype that didn't matter to someone that was hustlin' anyway.

Kinda' like the crims don't care one way or another about gun control ... they gonna' get theirs anyhow.

Insurance fraud? Money laundering?

Where did Michael and his "fiancee", Jody got that kind of money?

Ohioan -- I noticed you have a Terri PING list, I am sure people would want to see this.

It's time for an investigation.

Read the article. Agree with you sentiment that something seems to be amiss. But what?

Never fear, the Pinellas county sheriff, police and prosecutor are always on the alert and would never let anything shady or underhanded to be foisted upon the unsuspecting public. </sarcasm>

MICHAEL SCHIAVO's private Insurance company
JERGER & CENTONZE INSURNACE AGENCY, INC.
Notice how 'insurance' is conveniently misspelled and his squeeze's name is misspelled, too

Jerger & Centonze Insurance Agency, Inc., 2807 Marrie Ct., Clearwater, FL
Agency possibly purchased as part of The Jerger Co., Inc., Pinellas Park, FL by Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp. for $40 million, 1999.
Michael R. Schiavo listed as a director in 2002, with same address as above.
Corp. listed as inactive.
This address is listed as owned by Jodi A. Centonze in Pinellas County appraisers records.
Richard M. Jerger, Jr., stockholder in Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp, sold 2902 shares of stock in July,2001 for $102,933

Why would this HUGE company buy Jerger-Centonze for $40M? Were they that successful?

"July 16, 1999 Phila. Consolidated buys Jerger

Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp. closed on the purchase of a Florida-based group of personal lines specialty insurance companies, a cash and stock deal valued at over $40 million. A commercial lines specialty underwriter, Philadelphia Consolidated bought The Jerger Co. Inc. of Pinellas Park, Florida, and its subsidiaries. The buy brings Philadelphia Consolidated about $70 million of mobile home, homeowners property and casualty and floor insurance premiums. Besides $20 million in cash and more than 1 million shares of stock, Philadelphia Consolidated agreed to a $5 million additional payment, depending on how well the new businesses perform. "

Source 2

" In operation since 1962, Philadelphia Insurance Companies, whose Commercial Lines subsidiaries are rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Nationally recognized as a member of Wards Top 50 and Forbes Top 200 Best Small Companies, the organization has 36 offices strategically located across the United States to provide superior local service."

Michael had to have had a good motive to murder Terri WHILE they were still married! There has to have been some property or right to such property that Michael would have relinquished, had they divorced. Even their house. Michael now owns all of it. Had they divorced before he killed her, her half would have belong to her parents. If there was other property, valuable property, that explains the murder.

I don't understand why a court didn't look at his motive to determine if he were following her best interests or just wanted her dead ASAP.

Interesting developments. More investigation is needed. Wish I could do a flowchart on this post. Makes an interesting pic. Wonder if Mikey Schiavo bought the 2902 shares of Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Co. since he would have the money?

The author has made such a cat's breakfast of the facts that I have no idea whether she's competent to follow a paper trail.

I have no idea whether the address is actually Michael Schiavo's address, or whether it's even the same Michael Schiavo, but a Michael R. Schiavo is indeed listed as a director of Jerger-Centonze Insurance. If you look on the Florida State Division of Corporations website, it's as clear as day that Jerger-Centonze did not mis-spell "Insurance" on their papers, that appears to be a typo by a state employee who indexed the filing.

Having missed that, what else have the writers missed?
