The article is pretty much incoherent--but I guess there's enough names and data to check for associations.

I have been trying to find some information on the Guardian Ad Litem's in this case, in particular Dr. Jay Wolfson. Any information would be appreciated as I am in a debate over his 'report' which I find to be ridiculous.

If she wasn't dead and the parents had her there were just way too many things they could have found out from examining her, even without her regaining her speech. I become more and more convinced those CAT scans we saw were faked or from another patient. She was probably only moderately disabled. Murder most foul. Redrum. Redrum. I'm sorry Mrs. Torrance, but Danny isn't here anymore.

Like rape when there's nothing you can do about it you might as well lie back and enjoy it.

I'm sure you taught your daughters that, right?

Don't throw out the baby with the dishwater.

Ewwww...I'm never accepting an invitation to dinner at YOUR house.

Given that a number of doctors have indicated that the CAT scans were not nearly as bad as Cranford et al. have claimed, why would it be necessary to fake them?

Reasons to divorce:
He had found another wife and fathered 2 children.
He says, "Terri died in 1990"
He claims she was in PVS so he couldn't communicate with her.
He had dispute with her parents, not a good situation for anyone.

Reasons to stay married:
Husband could take out $millions in life insurance, viaticals, without Terri's signature.
Terri was eligible for Social Security Income.
Husband could claim her on income tax returns as a dependant.
He could limit all medical treatment and therapy for her recovery.
He could maintain legal and financial guardianship over Terri's affairs.
He could order her death.

So where is he now? How come no funeral organized by him, I thought he "loved" her soooo much. How come the media lets him get away with this. Where are her ashes? Is he going to be allowed to disappear with out a word? I don't get this. He makes me want to puke.

I doubt the poster did. But there was a Republican running for governor here in Texas that "used" that as a campaign slogan...he lost to Ma Richards. Just couldn't keep his dumb mouth shut. I was new to Texas so I don't know what his other qualifications might have been.

I hate when that happens. Is Felos an investor???? How many other Terri's are insured through this company????

Something to work on. Almost forgot about "viactuals". Calpernia knows...

Yes, where did the money come from. I had suggested to the FBI that they should do a RICO investigation on the hospice, Mickey, Felos, Geer and they should also investigate the insurance company Mickey's ho owns. I bet there is not only insurance fraud but wire and mail fraud involved.

What is needed here is some really good investigative reporting on the Hospice/insurance/conflict of interest connections. The local DA and the State of Florida Insurance Commissioner are not paying attention.

If MS stupidly does anything such as a book, movie etc., he will be fair game. Right now, he is still a private citizen and that is why it was so hard for Jeb, or DFC to touch him. Only Terri's parents had a case against him and they lost because of judicial corruption and laziness -IMHO

If he comes out to make money from a book etc., he will be subject to critical media scrutiny - and we can only hope there are some reporters who will seize the opportunity.

This is probably just wishful thinking on my part. But we have to keep thinking, it is all we have. Terri is dead.

Where did Michael and his "fiancee", Jody got that kind of money?

MS got a 1.2 millon dollar settlement and his baby mama was in a car accident before they met. Not sure what kind of settlement was reached in her personal injury claim. Some major bucks have been floating around somewhere....don't know.

While Ms. McLeod does leave a bit to be desired in the way of reporting, it doesn't mean that she's totally off base here either. Until this story, I had missed the Washington Post article, which I intend to look at for the paper trail, to see if it corroborates Ms. McLeod's story.

I know its a PURE coincidence, but the maiden name of the woman in Georgia who was almost starved to death is McLeod. Weird, huh?
