I don't think so. Rush flashes hot like this every
one in a while...gets it out of his system and then
he's fine again. Lots of pressure being in that
chair and daily masticating/absorbing/evaluating
all the MSM spewings from the Left.
He probably had some bad news from his lawyer about
the Florida drug/doctor case.

Does anyone know what is going on with him? He literally sounded insane.
Michael Savage sounds like this every day. And Savage is not insane. He's right on the money, and frustrated. Maybe Rush listened to Savage?

I am assuming since he works some times in New York, the taxman up there wants good ole Rush to pay some state taxes.I read the other day where New York had,or is,taxing out of state workers, like telecommuters.I guess Rush now has to pay state tax to New York when he's in Florida as well as in New York.

Yep, Rush is right as usual! I can see where he's coming from. I was having a discussion w/ the hubby last week, how tired I am of everyone into our back pockets, what with, insurance companies, property taxes, cell phone taxes, gas prices, food prices and on & on & on..... it's becoming increasingly harder to "get ahead" these days. I can only imagine who's hittin Rush up!

He was fine, just a little spunky

There was a recent article published regarding a telecommuter from Tennessee who works for New York Company who is now going to have to pay NYS income tax on all his income. The New York State court of appeals affirmed the NYS tax departments new policy regarding out of state income. Under the old policy only the income earned while being physically being in New York was taxed. Thus, under this new policy Rush's income while working in Florida is now subject to New York state income taxes. He made be accessed for back taxes as well.

Oh,but you don't understand politics.Santorum is from Pennsylvania. He has to move left and sell out conservatism otherwise he will not get elected. We cant forcefully advance our agenda because the rats will demonize us and scare old people. We have to peddle socialism lite(not so lie) otherwise the Rats will win.True conservatism cant win.SARCASM

I think Rush is listening to what Michael Savage has been saying for a very long time and finally opened his eyes!!

NYS is ALWAYS looking for money---they nail the residents and non-residents pretty hard, and the taxes seem to always be skyrocketing.
What's worse is that they keep pi**ing the money away--that has to be part of what Rush is going off about, IMHO.

Rush whining about tax issues is quite hilarious.
Those of us who work 60 hours or more a week and have to deal with NY tax issues don't have the advantage of high priced lawyers and accountants to fend for us.

Rush has been much too sedate, logical and nice for the last decade or so.
Its time to scorch the microphone with invective and let all the weenie Pubbies, johnny-come-lately-Conservatives, highly critical cheese-&-brie-poltical-scientist-wannabe-keyboard-jockeys-in-chatrooms-that-never-did-a-thing-in-their-lives be damned.

Bottom line is those of us who care about our country must start supporting the Toomey,Pence,Flake, and Shadegg wing of our party and not the weak kneed Santorum,Frist,Graham, and Allen wing.Conservatism works every time it is tried.Even in Pennsylvania.

I agree. I feel like blowing my top all the time and just wish I had the venue that would be as affective as Rush. He hit the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned. If you can find it, check out the live thread from yesterday. He even used the term b--w j-b on the air when discussing Algor.....

He needs to do two things.
1. Get out of New York, particularly New York City.
2. Get out of Palm Beach County.
If I owned New York City and Hell, I would live in Hell and rent New York City.

I'm sick and tired of... I can't find people who are real to hang around. All I get is a bunch of phonies that want to use me
Now, now Rush...this one's fixable and you know it....try taking your coffee cup and have a leisurely stroll down an American residential street. You'll find millions that would be thrilled to "hang with you" for just a few minutes.

His anger and outrage is justified. For G-d sakes I have felt this same way for years. There have been times on chat programs that I have literally blew a friggin gasket, because at some point in time you just feel like the damn insane people are running the asylum!!!!

I feel exactly like Rush. I'm so sick of suedo-conservatives in the House and Senate backtracking on judges, social security, energy, immigration, etc. that I'm ready to throw in the towel. I refuse to give one cent to any Republican organization until things change. Nothing will change, though, because we have leadership (including the White House) who think they can compromise and "get along" with the opposition.
How I wish our side had the guts and determination that the left has...
