Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said Friday that his party would wield the Terri Schiavo case against Republicans in the 2006 and 2008 elections, but for now needed to stay focused battling President Bush on Social Security.
"We're going to use Terri Schiavo later on," Dean said of the brain-damaged Floridian who died last month after her feeding tube was removed amid a swarm of political

OH! It is simpler than I thought. Great.
I hope the dimwits make Schaivo an issue. It will be a terrific opportunity to show them as the liars and tyrants they truly are.
The Times article is loaded with distortions and outright lies. Note especially the description of the law passed by Congress.

So far, every time Dean has opened his mouth, he has buried the far-left Marxist Dems deeper into history -- what is keeping them in existence is PURELY their mind-numbed useful idiots. Without them, their senseless, anti-everything blabber would not be around --- Oh, pray for the day. The MSM will have to find something else to do, as well...

When the DUmmies want to use her politcally it's ok.

Wow----Deanie's gonna get tough.......(yawn) I'm so scared (snore).
I gather Dean hasn't gotten the good news. The impact of 2004 Values Voters---the Catholic, Black, and denominational religious vote----is so striking, even Hillary is trying to look like Mother Teresa. Here's why:

Conservative pro-life Christian voters made monumental contributions to GWB's 2004 vote totals. Pres Bush won with 63 Million Votes (13 million more than 2000).
The map, though impressive, conveys the misleading impression that blue state Catholics voted for Kerry (a CINO).
According to EWTN "The World Over Live" analysts, with the exception of VA, where Catholics spit 70/30 in favor of Bush, the majority of Catholic voters split 55/45 for Bush.....a whopping number of votes since Catholics number about 52 million Americans.
According to CNN exit polls, Bush voters included 38% of union members, 40% of those with union members in their households, 42% of those earning $15,000-$30,000, 44% of those who earn under $50,000 and 44% of Latinos, 45% of youth (aged 18-29), 13% of liberalseven 11% of Democrats voted for Bush.
2004 Election polls indicated 34% called themselves conservative, 21% liberal.
The National Association of Evangelicals, represents 39 million churchgoers. There are an estimated one billion Catholics around the world, and according to the Church of England, there are 70 million Anglicans. America's census bureau said 159 million US citizens describe themselves as Christians.
If you look closely, the map appears to place the insignificant "Other Voters" in the ocean.....that's accurate, because "Other Voters--RINO Republicans" were on cru

So Howard Dean is going to take a pro-Michael Schiavo position as a selling point in the next election? Your blue states are packed to the brim with Catholics who are are livid at the murder of Terri, and the lack of due process given to her (see map on Post #13).
I can't wait for Howard and his evil democrat party to run on a pro-Michael Schiavo, pro-Greer, pro-Felos, pro-judicial tyant position.
Bring it on Howard, bring it on.

If the Dems keep this up, I'm not sure that modern medicine will allow doctors to continue saving their feet. After all, you can only shoot yourself there so many times before there just usn't enough to put back together and they have to amputate.
If they follow through with this, it will provide a serious derailment of Hillary's "campaign" because someone will eventually want to know why she had nothing to say about the judiciary muurdering Terri.
In all reality, I think this is just a trial balloon that Dean is floating to see how high it will fly. Well, Mr. Chairman, it didn't.

Hillary and her handlers got Dean to agree to not run in 2008 to secure the head DNC job. Now the media are going to cut him off at the knees, just as they had planned.
Anyone who thinks Dean is going to be leading the DNC going in to 2008 is kidding themselves.
Still, it will be fun to watch Dean implode.

"The Times article is loaded with distortions and outright lies. Note especially the description of the law passed by Congress."
The Repubs must be 'forearmed' on any issue. . .and constantly re-inform with the truth. . .not just let these stories go unchallenged. 'Campaign mode' is too late to bring public up to speed.
Like the Demrats. . .they need talking points; and must be as 'repetitive'.. .IMHO. They need them to cover all the lies for the issues the Demrat choose to lie about.

I agree, but being from Florida Sen. Martinez was extremely close to this case, and regardless of where you stood everyone was quite emotional and passionate about it. I'd say it was understandable yet inappropriate.

Anglicans in America are identified with the Episcopalian church. Of more than 7,300 US parishes in the Episcopal Church, 4 percent are affiliated with the American Anglican Council, at last count.
Pope John Paul 11 made strides to reconcile Anglicans with the Catholic Church after the breach over Henry the V111's divorce.
Fealty to a Pope was the major tenent separating Anglicans from Rome.
How many vote conservative? Like all believing Americans, they vote their conscience on issues.

As the issue settles down and some facts seep out in the MSM IMO this will be the "gay marriage" issue in future elections if the Rats use it. It's going to bring apolitical people out to vote.
To wit, the distorted ABC "poll" fooled a lot of people and was cited time and time again to influence politicians into believing that a majority of Americans wanted her dead.
ABC "news" employees have been skid marks on journalism's underwear for decades. I no longer just let radio "news" readers splutter on and count the minutes until the real world returns. I'll get up and cross the room to turn the radio off.
Another factor is the huge number of people calling talk shows citing their own (sometimes very own) similar experiences as Mrs. Schiavo's. Personally I was shocked at the number of callers. They are not ready to die they are not going to vote Rat.
