A fascinating video relating to an important unheeded warning of the 9/11 attacks was shown on WPTV, an NBC TV station in Florida on October 7, 2002. This video has been overlooked and forgotten until now.

What did Senator Bob Graham (left) and US intelligence know about the warning from Randy Glass (right) before 9/11? In this video, Randy Glass, a private US citizen working as an undercover agent in a government sting operation, discusses how he learned about a threat to the World Trade Center and tried to warn various officials in government before 9/11. Florida State Senator Ron Klein and US Senator Bob Graham admit being given a warning by Randy Glass in the months before 9/11. What was the warning, who else knew about it, and why wasn't it acted upon?

Though the video doesn't discuss it, the sting operation Glass was part of recorded agents working for Pakistan's secret service, the ISI, say on more than one occasion before 9/11 that the World Trade Center was “coming down.”

The truth is.......... Osama-bin-Laden declared war on us back in the mid 90's. The Clinton Administration ignored all of these warnings because the public opinion Polls Dick Morris conducted did not show any popular support for confronting any particular threat only Clinton and his National Security team was aware of.

When evidence showed that Timothy McVeigh might have been involved with an Iraqi named Al-Hussein Hussani (sp?) who might have connections with Al-Queda. This was swept under the rug because there was political points to be scored if McViegh could be linked to Rush Limbaugh or any other conservative talk show host.

The simple truth is... William Jefferson Clinton ignored the threat on the horizon because it was politically advantageous for him to do so. Meanwhile 3000 people died on 9/11 because Bill Clinton decided it was in his best political interest to ignore the threats we faced than confront them.

The fact of the matter is.... Bill Clinton was quite aware of what Osama-bin-Laden was planning and the threat he represented, but confronting bin_Laden did not Poll well, so he ignored the threat of OBL because there was no DATA that convinced him it would benefit him Politically.

Everyone seems to want a conspiracy... First the pope, now this. As has already been pointed out, the World Trade Center was a known target - that was why there was a security presence there. Aside from putting ground to air missiles up there and someone actually having the guts to light one off into a plane full of bystanders (and risk a miss hitting somewhere in the region), there wasn't much to do.

The only way to prevent it would have been to keep those hijackers from boarding the plane. That wasn't done, what followed was unpreventable. What did we learn? To make sure we strip search granny just about as often as any Arab, to leave our borders open for virtually anyone to cross (and later crash a car into an officer), and to continue ignoring the huge population of those who entered legally but failed to honor their visas and leave under the conditions they agreed to.

Aside from the armed student body, what prevents someone from coming to the US, buying weapons (or making them) and killing our school children? So far as I see it, we're still relying on blind luck.

All that being said, it would be nice to see Graham sweat a bit over this; perhaps we'd have someone else in the Senate to speak up for sane protections for our people.

First of all, I doubt very much if the plot was to 'bring down' the buildings. How could the terrorists possibly know in advance they would come down?

I thought it was common knowledge that they wanted to bring them down. They tried once before on Feb 23, 1993 using a truck bomb which only partially succeeded. They were expected to try again, though we thought they would try a bigger truck bomb -- no one conceived of an airplane as a weapon. This is nothing new. And for the reasons you gave the info he had was of no use to preventing 9/11 anyway.

The dems always protest too much, making one think it is to cover up their absolute joy. They love to see America take 'hits' for numerous things, but they act like they are the good guys, pursuing the bad, when it comes to investigating things. All of a sudden they take the offence like they are real good citizens!

Gee, I don't know that, but. in Tom Clancy's book, copyrighted 1984, Debt of Honor, a protagonist at the end flies a 747 into the Capitol Bldg and kills the president and congress at a joint session. Is that early enough?

By some weird fate, I had been to the library on the night of September 10th, 2001, and I had checked out Executive Orders, the book that opens with Jack Ryan gazing on the Capitol in flames, just after the ending of Debt Of Honor.

I fell asleep reading it and woke up, thinking I was dreaming, hearing an MSNBC reporterette talking about "the building being in flames" and "a plane flying into the building."

When I finally realized I wasn't dreaming, but hearing something on TV, I got up, walked into the bonus room to look at TV and damn near lost my mind.
